25 LEGO Sets You Need In Your Collection [SPACE.COM]

Haven't seen this list come by yet: https://www.space.com/38651-best-lego-sets.html

Article is from Nov 2017, so apologies if this was posted before.

EDIT: Quality of the commentary on each of the sets is debatable, and so are some of the choices :)

I disagree with this list...need to be more specific...ex, best technic sets, best small/large sets and so on...everybody has own opinion for set coolness. I know and own lots (just 250+ sealed)of sets i love...

They lost me at the LEGO Batman Movie Batmobile. ?

Probably my least favorite of the 13, 239 batmobiles made so far.

:-P  I didnt even make it through half the slides.  The batmobile was just one of many questionable choices. :-P

I have 27 sets in my "elite" collection. Not a single one is Star Wars or Super Heroes and never will be!

D- for any article that uses slides.

But, it's always fun to see another's opinion on sets. Even if they have a terrible opinion.

Exo Suit, #1!

Well, everyone does actually have 25 of them in their collections because they can´t sell them.

Not everyone, ;)

Yeah, Jeff was smart enough not to buy any and just live off everyone else´s sales.

Seems to have a little recency bias... didn't seem like there were any sets that came out before 2016 or so (besides Tower Bridge). There were great sets in the early 2000s and before then as well.

I don’t know what everyone is talking about??? I always take Lego advice from someone that uses “LEGOS” as the first word of their article!!!! I trust that he knows what he is talking about. In 25 years everyone will be kicking themselves that they didn’t listen to him and refinance their homes to stock up on Batmobiles.

When this article was first published all of these sets were still available. So it’s nothing more than a marketing article that was probably paid in some way by Lego themselves. Power functions? Seriously?
