Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

This looks good. Not a big fan of the first one, but this one looks like it got potential.

I enjoyed the first part and more than eager to see the continuation. On a side note either it is the character of Newt Scamander or Eddie Redmayne's portrayal of him but he feels very much like The Doctor to me right down to his "bigger on the inside" suitcase.

My wife and I enjoyed the first Fantastic Beasts movie, as a 'Harry Potter expanded world' tie-in. And the implication of further delving into the Dumbledore vs Grindelwald wizarding war that was briefly talked about in the Harry Potter books/movies make this new movie-series all the more tantalising! I say: bring it on!!!

Saw this last night, sadly wasn't blown away . It raises a lot of plot issues that hopefully will be addressed somehow in the next 3 installments.

Saw it on Friday in Real3D. Same conclusion. Lots of "inexplicable" behaviour. Many long conversations with the kids (Especially my son who likes to analyze movies) about the plot holes and what they all could mean. Definitely a setup movie for the rest of the franchise, unlike the first movie which is a great story on its own.
