eddie412 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 I have an incomplete MOS Eisley Pod racer set. I'm missing a few minifigures and probably about a hundred pieces, and the pieces are missing a specialty pieces that I don't have in my collection. I was wondering for any advice to you the make it a Buy It Now or an auction. Sent from my LGLS676 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app Quote
marcandre Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Is that for set 7171? You should check bricklink for missing pieces. You may make more completing it (if that matters). I would do buy it now with make an offer if just looking to sell. An auction on such an old set may not get many views. You can offer it here too https://community.brickpicker.com/forums/forum/61-trading-want-ads-for-sale/ 1 Quote
terrymc4677 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 I'd list it buy it now or best offer. Set the price a little higher than what you'd expect to get for it, so when offers come in they will be around the range you are happy with. Set the best offer parameters to automatically decline obnoxious low ballers, and to automatically accept an offer you are happy with. I'd offer free shipping as well, since it shouldn't cost too much to ship this. Make sure your description is very accurate and that you have plenty of detailed pictures. Listing as an auction is too risky for something like this, and wil most likely sell at a fraction of what you think is a fair price. Good luck. 1 Quote
eddie412 Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 I really appreciate you explaining that. That is super helpful to what I want to do. You are correct I wouldn't want to end up selling it at $5 at an auction on eBay. Thank you very much. Sent from my LGLS676 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app Quote
eddie412 Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 I totally forgot about Bricklink. As well as I forgot that this site has trading and selling and what not. I will definitely keep that in mind. Thank you very much!Sent from my LGLS676 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app Quote
