Dr Jedi Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Still wish I gave a damn about Ninjago...but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the occasional set Quote

I wasn't interested in Ninjago at all, even after watching the film. Now I think it's great. Quote
Ciaraf76 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 I don't care much for the cartoons - my son does, but I think some of the bigger sets make good display pieces. Quote
Val-E Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 (edited) Box art photo has already leaked at the usual places. It´s a minifig heavy set with lots of brown parts, including the dock promenade section. Seems some people are able to take clandestine pics at the Nuremberg fair. John82 Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Upon first glance it looks good. Looking forward to some better pictures. Quote
Alpinemaps Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Based on my sources, the name on this is "The Dockyards" Quote
Mos_Eisley Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 It looks cool, but it's not nearly as impressive as Ninjago City. Quote
inversion Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I was expecting a lot more. Kind of disappointing. Although I believe the connectibility is just an afterthought, as age range is also quite different from Ninjago City, so it is supposed to be toned down compared to that from the beginning. Quote
tacsniper Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I like it!! Adds some life to a city with just ordinary buildings in the background. Hope they will carry this idea to the City line maybe with the next version of cargo ship?? Quote

THANKS for the direction... hmmm.. my first impression.. that kinda looks more like a last night fire in a nearby shelter THAN a piece of art.. I hope it gets better when its actually released.. ? :/ Quote

Patrick_lkc Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 This picture seems a little bit strange to me; all the minifigure are exactly same as The Ninjago City and the position as well, is it the real box of The Dock? Quote

It's preliminary box art. It says "placeholders" over the minifigure section. Quote

HandyHand Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Looks like a LOT of trans-blue 2 by 1 tiles forming the 'water' level! Quote
Ciaraf76 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Well, I'm a bit disappointed - doens't look as good as I hoped. Quote
