Martae54
Loving that little Jukebox build, and the teal portion of the building with the pink striping. Also the big bubble round window on the ground floor is very nicely done. I like it a lot.

Thanos75
I like the fact that they finally started using different faces for the figs.
Pseudoty
They went from generic fig faces to Elvis and his pink Cadillac.
Huskers1236
That boxer is one weird looking dude. Pretty sure he's getting in shape to go do some low budget porn. The set is a cool change to the series, though. I do like it. 3

He looks like a boxer from the 1920s but with modern trunks.

Because the whole set is a 50s flashback, some nice nostalgia built into it even though 95% of buyers of this set were probably born 1970 and after
Captain_chaos
Glad I have TRU Bricktober classic minifigs now; that boxer will go very well with this set. Also, it isn't a corner, the connection is built into the wall by the stairs, so there! Edited November 29, 2017 by Captain_chaos
fossilrock
I really like this set. Still need to pick up the brickbank, and don't think i'll get last years assembly square, but this one is definitely being added to the collection. It's very quirky and nicely designed..
Shewie
People from US like this set better than those in UK, Germany and Poland I talked with. Most of them are finding this set hideous and lacking the extra details from outside that Modulars were known from. I don't like the looks of this set but I will buy day one because I genuinely appreciate one of the greatest selection of old and new brick moulds in new colours. Some of those colours were long forgotten like teal (dark turquoise) last time used afaik in late 90'?. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=8432-1#T=S&O={"iconly":0} But I need to see those bricks in real life, picture could be misleading I don't really mind the idea of getting rid of generic faces... Mathew
Quick thoughts FWIW: Too much pink. I would prefer a bright red Diner sign. But I can see why they chose to go with the color as it fits. People who are familiar with South Beach in Miami should instantly see the influence. I do like the Art Deco meets Googie architecture. Definitely more fun and visually arresting than the boring Brick Bank and Detective Office.
Val-E
Up at EU SAH. 130 GBP but 170 euros in Spain, France and Holland. Wow, just wow. Seems only Germany get it at 150 euros.

Maybe the Danes are scared the Germans will invade them again if the Germans don't get preferential treatment!

No pin what so ever on the picture and both views have a great finish The larger picture clearly shows that it is not a corner set. You can connect it with pins on both the left and right sides. Guest TabbyBoy
It's not at all in keeping with the existing beautiful modular building so I'll be giving this one a miss. I'm no longer chasing poor sets to become a completionist. For example, the only IDEAS sets that I don't have (and never will have) are the Exo Suit and Adventure Time ;-)

And I think it does stylistically match side by side with the Detective's Office.
