scatttcat
Hey everyone, So I am in the process of sorting massive amounts of legos and a lot of the rubber tires I am coming across feel very oily and slimy. I've felt this before in other rubber portions of toys and I know it is common (though I don't fully understand the chemical reaction that occurs). Anyways, wondering if any one has come across this and if these tires are salvageable? Is there anything I can wash / soak them in to rid this? Or are they pretty much done for? Thanks for any help! marcandre
Try using a degreaser like simple green. If that does not work you can go with a thinner but that may damage the rubber.
