So only SAH, Smyths, Argos, Asda, The Entertainer, Tesco and TRU to go before you corner the market!

Not sold by Smyths, not sold by Argos, not sold by Asda, not sold by The Entertainer, not sold by Tesco, and OOS at TRU. All depends on how many LEGO Shop at Home has.

Yet. TRU has plenty for click and collect, depending on where you live.

Strange its appeared at JL and TRU would suggest not a store exclusive, so why don't the others have it ?

Maybe Tabby hijacked the delivery truck.

A Mighty Girl blog article now has 30k reactions,  8.5k shares and 2k comments since yesterday and is a sticky post. I guess that´s where US demand is coming from.

Those are similar figures to Lego´s own blurb from 2 weeks ago!

No idea, it’s just like 21309 which is all over the US, but only at LEGO and JL in the UK..... so far.

Apparently only some UK TRU stores have it.

as a herd of uber TLG-connected lego dorks, dweebs and nerds, it's easy for us to lose sight that rest of the world hasn't caught on to our coolness and the absolute wonder of child inspiration resulting from this set.  but there are enough parents and more importantly GRANDPARENTS out there who have made upwards of 20% on their portfolios in the last year and if they are a 1%er grandparent they are banking 6 figures in dividends.  for these people, coughing up an extra benjamin for an intelligent thought and conversation provoking toy not revolving around a screen is almost a privilege they can brag about with their like-riched friends  as they toss back martinis at le club after an early round of golf and guffaw over who overpaid.

Can anyone confirm local Lego store counts and if still in stock?

i headed out to a local store this evening and called ahead and they were out (westfarms mall).

i also stopped at 3 bn's including the one in enfiled CT and came up empty.  they did have old fishing stores out on the shelves which was cool to see - have to score the gift cards this black friday.

21312 is now oos at bn.com.

whining on amazon has commenced about the price gougers.

You got me, I sold three units at 79.99. I couldn't pass up those fat profits when still in stock from SaH. I'll order replacements.

Do buyers over there simply pay the first price they see on Amazon / eBay ?

Perhaps they are preparing some type of promo. That rule about not raising prices 15 days before the promo starts could be the explanation.

They haven´t put the rocket up so much in Germany. Here it is 145 euros!

You were kind of right.
Toys'r'Us "discounted" it now to 24,99€ and marked it as "TopDeal" so any further discounts or Coupons don't apply anymore on these...

Ok, so it has just gone to backorder (for a week) at EU SAH. On EU Ebay, only those crazy Brits seem to be willing to pay a premium so far - we´ll have to see if that changes now it is on backorder. Can´t see the thing on EU Amazon and only 4 sold on Bricklink at 31.20 Eur.

It´s not exactly rocket science to see that once again there is some type of US hype bubble that has maybe caught a bit of the English speakig market in Europe but this is in no way a home run must-have set in Europe like the Saturn or Falcon.
