Buy for £19.99 and sell a few months after for £49.99? Hmmm....

I highly recommend the book/movie Hidden Figures if you want to learn more about Women at NASA especially the contributions of black women. They could have included a lot more minis if they wanted.

PS I am the one who edited the first post, stay classy folks.

Every cent they get from Lego licensing fees is one less they will take off you in taxes.

No, just no.  I think the NASA sets are awesome,.

While I don't find this set that impressive, it's better than I though it would be, probably due to the packaging, and seems to fit nicely with the Research Institute.

I wonder how supply will be with this one. Lego had a bit of a PR nightmare with the RI shortages. I don't think they want that again.

LEGO never learn regarding supply issues. I think it’ll be as difficult to get hold of as the RI was. They failed to make enough 21309 and 75192 when huge demand was obviously easy to forecast, so why not fail again? Because this is NASA, expect much bigger returns than RI. I just hope it’s exclusive in the UK like RI was.

Fantastic box, great set. I like that much better than the approved submission. The little shuttle build is great. Nice part out potential - the Margaret Hamilton one recreating the famous picture of her will be quite popular in the tech world.

Considering the favourable press coverage already when this Ideas submission was approved in the review round, I expect another round of great press at the launch of this set. Which means it could be another set that sells out at launch with Lego having difficulty getting their supply matching the demand. Something to keep in mind ;)

Fifth space themed set so far from Lego Ideas?

I must say I think it's a really interesting cute little set.  I guess everything doesn't have to be large or intricate, it's nice to have something on our on a smaller scale and a smaller price point

You are so 2014. Gingerbread House Lady is the media mogul nowadays.

Given how women centric the BBC has become I expect this will be the first news item on the News at Ten when it's released

There's a Dutch Lego reseller site listing this at €26,95 --> https://www.speelgoednl.nl/lego-21312-ideas-women-of-nasa

So I'm guessing the price will be somewhere between €24,99 and €29,99, depending on country and exchange rate.

Due to Brexit, it looks like £24.99 then? I was hoping for £19.99 tops.

You’ll be able to get these for £15 when this gets discounted, although boxes will be in their obligatory poor condition shipped in plastic bin liners.

Assuming that this "could" be as exclusive as RI was, we may only be able to get this from LEGO and perhaps John Lewis. Therefore, we can forget about any discounts ;-(

If it is unexclusive and available everywhere, every man and his dog will be loading up which will kill any hopes of a decent profit before Hell freezes over. However, if it's often out of stock...

Since JL now use bin liners, I will only buy these from LEGO. Or... C&C from JL so I can reject on the spot. I wonder how many per factory box?

The box art is eye-popping and the builds are perfect desk display size. Well done.

It does look cool and collectors are aware that a nice looking mint box holds more kudos than the contents.
