Legodog
Toyark.com has posted photos and info for a bunch of 2013 sets. There are a lot of very cool sets coming out. Some of the city sets are a lot cooler than I was expecting. exciter1
Cool, since I missed them the first time, I'll be all over those City Coast Guard sets. I can see myself putting together 3 of those LOTR Black Gate sets and expanding that diorama.
Rich B
Wow I'm speechless! There are a lot of great sets coming out. The new city sets look great and how about the Friend Dolphin Cruiser, pretty sweet in my opinion. Also Heartlake High is cool. I think I'm beginning to dig these Friends sets more than I ever thought I would.
Ed Mack
The Technic crane is amazing. The STAR WARS sets looks like a bunch of remakes for the most part, with a couple of new sets thrown in.
justgod
With the re-release of some of the same Star Wars sets, how will this affect the prices of previously issued sets (i.e. Republic Gunship and Sail Barge)?
stephen_rockefeller
Historically older sets see a decrease when the new version hits the retail shelves and then after the newness wears off the older sets regain their value. Not sure how much but I think every set differs. I guess we will find out this summer.
pickleboy
The crane does look badass. Only the ship and the black gate impress me for LOTR. Why no new Hobbit sets? Isn't the second movie coming out this year? Or did I just miss them? Favorites... Crane Dolphin Cruiser Craggers Commander Ship LOTR Ship And of course being an unapologetic TMNT homer, I think the Lair is awesome.
pickleboy
And I think the rancor pit is lame. The Rancor is cool but after that....meh

Grolim
Why no new Hobbit sets? Isn't the second movie coming out this year? Or did I just miss them? The 2nd movie is due in December, so expect a second wave of Hobbit sets then.

Legodog
Sorry, it was too difficult to post all of the direct links earlier using my iPad. Here they are. stackables
I originally went to the link and scrolled through the page. Couldn't find the lego sets. Thanks for the links.
stackables
Sail Barge definitely looks smaller. But with all of those minifigs, I bet it will still be expensive.
stephen_rockefeller
79 - 99 USD I'm thinking.
tormentalous
Sail Barge definitely looks smaller. But with all of those minifigs, I bet it will still be expensive. The Sail Barge is $119.99.
stephen_rockefeller
My guess was wishful thinking!
stackables
The Sail Barge is $119.99. Wow. How many pieces is the set? I would rather have the old one which you can find around that price used. Oh, and do we need another spider-droid. That set isn't that old. Never mind, I see it is only 850. Wow again. stackables
Holy remakes. I can see why star wars is losing popularity. More than half the new sets are remakes. Very disappointing :(
Ed Mack
Holy remakes. I can see why star wars is losing popularity. More than half the new sets are remakes. Very disappointing ...and not even good remakes!
Studebricker
Holy remakes. I can see why star wars is losing popularity. More than half the new sets are remakes. Very disappointing I know -- and it doesn't make sense because the more unique sets are released, we should be seeing remakes LESS often, not more. I realize some sets are more popular than others, but outside of that x-wing/yoda hut set, have we ever gotten a good degobah set? Not really. Have we ever got a decent Mos Eisley cantina? Again, no. How about a Gunga City? Okay, maybe not that... Point is Lego has yet to tackle every location/ship, but we continue to get remakes. Okay, rant over... Talon
The Star Wars sets aren't too exciting and the Castle sets also look uninspired to me. I do like a couple of the LOTR sets but it looks like Lego is again pushing the price envelope upward, especially on a price per piece basis.
