  1. 1. When will you buy your first 75192 UCS Falcon?

    • First day VIP early access purchase.
    • 2x VIP promo in October 2017.
    • Wait for discount of between 10%-19%.
    • Wait for discount between 20%-29%.
    • Wait for discount of at least 30%.
    • Wait until it shows solid signs of retiring.
    • No plans to buy this set.

I plan on buying this in April, when I should be receiving my tax return. And by then it should only be half price for me because I should have enough credit card points to cut the price of it in half.

There's a plan, maybe I should set a goal of buying this set on pure VIP points before it retires!?

Nice to see a new ucs falcon definitely going to get it. Think the mini figure line up is a bit disappointing would of been nice if the Mynock and the porgs where one piece figures instead of buildables although a nice touch it just seems like they were thrown in at the end of when they were designing it

Sorry if someone has already posted it, but here are a couple of photos of the set from my local store. It's hard to capture the scale of the set in these photos, but it's impressive. The box is really cool too.

Whenever someone stopped to gawk at it, someone else would ask "are you getting one"? There seems to be only two answers....1) oh, yeah for sure... or 2) are you kidding me? It's an $800 Lego set!?!  The former mostly from dudes...the latter mostly from moms with teenage kids..haha

Does anyone knows the actual dimensions of the box?

My local store has it on display as per the one posted by BuckeyeFanDan.

The employee mentioned it was built and shipped directly from Lego (didn't say it was from Billund) and they even need to get someone to fix and set up the display case. What I found missing is they do not show the interior.

The store also handing out (you need to ask though) high quality embossed brochure for 75192.  It is very impressive. The paper feel high end, but of course they will recoup the investment with the RRP.

Looks like some of the LEGO insiders were selling Falcons at decreased prices 3-4 days before the new announcement news break. And I also already see 7+ $200 dollar "UCS Falcons" sold in the last few days, LEGO lost their mold designs that early in the process. that's pretty sad security.  There's no reason to pick up this set without double VIP or at a discount.

The ninjago city sets boxes were nearly all damaged at Leicester Square today

people picking the box up by the top flap, causing it to rip under the weight.

they didn't look too nice

I noticed that at Comic Con. The box was pretty flimsy and there were a couple that were damaged.

couple years I guess

I think VIP Points expire Dec 31 of the year that is two years after they've been earned.

Where ?  Link? Unless the sold listings didn't contain "75192", I don't see those on eBay.

I hit my local Lego store to pick up a set for my kid and to check out the MF display. Gotta say it's pretty slick and the exterior detail is well done.
Side note, if a 1x5 is hovering around the display, a great ice breaker is to bring up the cost of that beast. And before you know it, you're having a geeked out conversation with someone waaaay out of your league.
True story.

The old falcon models. Several were selling a few days before the announcement, that might have tipped people who pay attention to sales off about something happening.  I think LEGO has very poor internal information security these days.

Leicester sq opening at midnight on launch day and Hans will be signing copies of the Falcon. So do I make the wife think I'm having and affair or getting the Falcon. I don't know which would be worse. :-)

If you get a signed copy it could go towards paying for another regular one to build.
