It looks like LEGO will remake EVERY already released UCS set (which was not made twice already) because they are simply iconic to every one of us...

I hope so, I missed out on the Shuttle, AT-AT and ISD.

What if performance is as dire as Red 5? We all know the game has changed. There's a risk of being stung badly if you go all in. 3 years ago, I've have bought non-stop, now I'm buying just 2.

I have stated my sentence thinking from collecting point of view, not from investing point of view...

Yeah, at some point someone o the board will think we need a new B Wing.

I had to google it, I am not really familiar with every UCS ship name... (Have I to sell them all as a punishment? ;-) )

First remakes are at the moment:

Star Destroyer

Tie Interceptor

No bad thing... the B Wing was a better-than-expected performer.

Anyway, since when has things looking weird bothered SW fans?

Here's some trivia for you guys. Did you know Michael Jackson originally wanted to play Jar Jar, but George Lucas opted for CGI instead. From an interview with Ahmed Best, the actor who voiced and provided motion capture for Jar Jar;

"Me, Natalie Portman and George [Lucas]'s kids – we were at Wembley arena at Michael Jackson's concert," Best said. "We were taken backstage, and we met Michael. There was Michael and Lisa Marie [Presley]. George introduced me as 'Jar Jar,' and I was like, 'That's kind of weird.' Michael was like, 'Oh. OK.' I thought, 'What is going on? After Michael had driven off, we all go back up to a big after-party. I'm having a drink with George, and I said, 'Why did you introduce me as Jar Jar?' He said, 'Well, Michael wanted to do the part, but he wanted to do it in prosthetics and makeup like Thriller. George wanted to do it in CGI. My guess is ultimately Michael Jackson would have been bigger than the movie, and I don't think he wanted that."

Not knocking anyone, but I'm not a fan of the MilF.  If they redo the ISD I will definitely be a buyer at some point.  I don't own any UCS sets, but a new ISD I would consider for sure.  Happy hunting when it becomes available.

Do we have speculation or knowledge of what the other Sep 14th exclusive is suppose to be if the first is the new MilF as the Ninjago City is on the 1st?

Calling BS on the twitter image. Box art looks weak in terms of what LEGO is currently designing for box art graphics.

I may be wrong, but it just doesn't look legit to me.

At some point? I've been saying that since the last one retired.

Take it with a grain of salt, though. I used to have a personalized plate in my car that said "B WING"

I expected the cast of minifigs to be on top of box...

OK, there are B Wing lovers out there after all. I bet no one wants another Anakin´s Jedi Starfighter, though!

I wasn't around for the 10179 days, but definitely am drooling over wanting the new one.  For those of you here during 10179 in retail what, if any, discounts did you see outside the "make your own discount?"  Straight discounts on sets of major themes like Star Wars $199 and up seem harder to come by these days with a few exceptions (75095 I'm looking at you).  Will double VIP, promos, credit card cashback, etc. be the only opportunites to save some money on 75192?  Will we see this online at place like TRU (Can't fathom the mark-up) where discounted GCs could be used?  Thoughts on if this price point could totally fail (out of reach for too many) and we see significant price reductions in a couple years or would they opt to just stop making?

I think I'm "in for one, on day one" if I can get it.  My plan: buy it and gently take it home, and wait a few months.  If the market goes nuts, and there's no supply in November... maybe I can make a few hundred bucks on a local sale. If not... well... I never had the original, and would love a chance to build the biggest Lego ever, especially in a Star Wars theme.  I have no place to display it for long at home... but we're not much for Lego displays around here anyway.  My son and I will build it for fun... display it for a month or two... then sell it for $500 or $600 used. Maybe discounts will come down the line, but hopefully retail price will hold firm for the first 6 months or so?  That's a couple hundred dollars worth of fun to me.  The question is... when is day one? Sept 1st? Sep 15th?

About the wheeled box... I wouldn't be surprised if this wheeled box thing becomes a permanent option in the Lego store.  I'm hoping it actually is a brown "open top box" they can fab up in-store, and load your purchases into it.  Would be perfect for any big spender families who come in and buy, say, a Disney castle, a Technics Porsche, and a few other sets.  It's hard carrying all those bags around the mall.

Maybe so.  The minifigure layout looks fake.  I think LEGO is making it difficult for resellers with the size of the box.  They want to make it difficult to resell and ship.

At this point, I won't be shocked if this set only comes with the four minifigures.  Perhaps the BB-8 that we saw in the video was just meant to be a clue to what the set was, and not actually included in the set.  Of course, I hope I'm wrong, as I'd rather have 10-20 minifigures come with this thing.  However, 10179 was created essentially as the ANH Falcon with the appropriate minifigures (minus the droids, which still makes no sense).  If this set truly does come with just the four minifigures (plus a mynock), and is produced purely as an ESB Falcon, then I think there are two truths that follow:

1) We will get a ROTJ Falcon at some point in the future - maybe another 10 years?  Sooner if this new set actually sells well.  I do hate to think that we'll need to wait that long for a Nien Nunb head mold...but we're still waiting on Zuckuss, so who knows.

2) I think this set actually makes 10179 more collectible, as there will be people that want each movie version of the Falcon.  In my opinion (and I'm not sitting on a pile of 10179's, so this isn't wishful thinking) the ANH vs ESB issue can begin to make 10179 and 75192 each be seen as unique ships, as opposed to one simply being an upgrade over the other.

There will be a 50th Anniversary STAR WARS UCS Falcon...bet on it.

I had a sealed 10179 but sold it a little over a year ago since I didn't have the balls to open it up. I got the green light from the wifey to buy the new one. Hoping to snag one on day 1 and will hang onto it to see if I can unload locally during Xmas for a profit. I'm in no rush to build and display it so I can wait until they're readily in stock to build. I'm definitely not taking the chance by selling it via eBay. Too scary with all the scams out there.

If the leaks are real, I'm loving the way the new Falcon looks. Not so much about the box though. Part of the attraction of the bigger sets was the artwork. Regular boxes have more space for bigger and better artwork. This square box and the new (possibly) artwork looks rather simple and plain. Hoping the new leak of the box isn't true.

??? And you combine all 3 UCS Falcons (2007, 2017, 2027) to make the MEGA MILF. Like Transformers or Power Rangers

If there will be numbered initial run with signed card of authenticity even those with so little faith and zero interest will be queuing on front of the store from early morning on the release day.

The box doesn't do it for me. I generally like clean designs, but there's something about this that doesn't even feel like a LEGO set.  That won't be all the minifigs, but it won't be much more. Probably 7-8 standard minifigs along with 2-3 brick-built droid/molded kind of things.
