How realistic is the suggestion that this will have a detailed interior thus accounting for the increase in brick count? Assuming the leaked photo is legit, the new version seems to be a similar physical size to the old one. I don't have the original UCS MF set but I've heard that the bulk of its interior is taken up by the frame required to support the weight of the externally visible pieces. Hence would there be room inside the new one to include a detailed interior?

If recent LEGO design techniques of utilizing  two small bricks in place of one larger one are any indication, I am expecting very little in the way of interior detail.  But if it is 30 or so pounds as the rumor has it, maybe we might get lucky.

Yeah... the same trick they use to increase the piece count in Architecture sets, I just wish they would put the weight on the box too. After their half-arsed attempt with the Death Star, we deserve some luck, right?

From a popular german Lego fan site

LEGO Star Wars UCS Mellenium Falcon | © Andres Lehmann / zusammengebaut.com

At this point I would like to say a very big thank you to all the readers who have made us aware of a number of images that haunt the network. You can see the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon 75,192th And to say no, it is a flying saucer would be silly just before the performance.

But please be understand that we can not publish the pictures of the new Millennium Falcon of "Ultimate Collector Series". At this point I like to explain why this is so: There is a lock-up period. Zusammmengebautis the first recognized LEGO Fan Media site in Germany, and we do not want to jeopardize that status. Because we get press releases firsthand and are friendly relationship with the LEGO officials.

It is known that the new UCS Millennium Falcon 75192 in just a few days in the LEGO Stores will be on display, beginning September 1, in fancy glass cases. And I want you not certainly prevent them from Googling already under the new hawk. However, for you understand that I'm not going to link to relevant sources.

As much as we would show you the pictures already: We can not, by virtue of that embargo. This is also true for the LEGO Star Wars "The last Jedi" Sets: There are already some reviews of the sets in the network. Among other reasons because ToysRUs has sent out two weeks early in the US, the sets (perhaps incorrectly marked on the calendar ...). All of this is surprising, the large number of images that show the Millennium Falcon 75,192th Including official product images. For this, there is a reason: Many traders hoped so perhaps an advantage ...

All we can tell you at this time (and not more!) Can be found here . The set is large, heavy and is probably the ultimate proof of how important AFOLs are for LEGO.

7,541 items in stock!

Please rejoice with us on the biggest LEGO set ever: 7,541 parts promise a truly great (... and not quite cheaper) to be fun. The price we can not communicate well. But no: The set will not cost more than 1,000 euros (!).

We can not tell when the set is presented to you. But I formulate it this way: If you want to see in detail the new Falcons, you are welcome on September 1, the LEGO Store seek. The days earlier, should you but zusammengebaut.com keep in mind.

The VIP pre-sale of the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon 75192 starts on 14 September. Just a few weeks we have to wait.

I wish you a good weekend and I hope I was able to answer many of your questions with this article. Send us gladly also henceforth questions and information: what we're here!

Yep...it's a cute marketing ploy used even more recently.  The weight is what matters.

Yes!  Weight ratio is something the 'old-timers' here have been preaching for many years.

E.g. The UCS Sandcrawler and B-Wing both could've had larger element counts if large plates weren't used instead of typical bricks.

Larger bricks also means stronger models.

Sometimes yes (especially if we are talking baseplates, which are always better with one sturdy piece), but a well built set with multi overlapping pieces (within a set) is generally stronger.

Sorry to disagree...But one solid brick in comparison to multiple smaller overlapping bricks to equal the same cubic space should be stronger.  If LEGO used maximum sized bricks in their designs (with some overlap), the set will be stronger.  Every LEGO set design needs to be overlapped, but they needlessly jack up the piece counts with 1 x 2s and 1 x 1s  and other smaller bricks.

I'm very surprised by the lack of activity on this thread with the possible release only days from now.

At this point I think all that people wanted to say have been said. We are now in the waiting game......to see if anything else is released prior to the big announcement.

I guess so.  In the past, such a major set release would have an active thread.  Maybe people are spoiled.

When will we know that the LEGO boom is really over? When it appears as if there's no one left to complain (or seemingly even care).

Frantically trying to offload my personal 10179 to help cover the cost of the new one. As predicted even at a reasonable price i'm not getting any bites. And everyone is laughing in my face on local posting sites haha "should have sold it earlier bro". My own fault though, as i wanted to wait for a leaked image to convince me i wanted the new one.

Be patient.(if possible)  Even with the new one coming out there are collectors out there that have to have the original.

Maybe so, but there will also be a whole lot more collectors out there looking to sell their old model, after replacing their displayed 10179 with the new/improved one (plus any extra ones they might have purchased for investment).
