Can someone from Mod team answer my  question why my posts are being constantly removed from this topic and forum?

lurking into my account and changing my personal setting aren't welcomed as well.

without  regards.

Here's an auction that is in flight.  One of the 100 that has the special vip card and includes the signed box.  Bid already at £770.  I'll bet min £1500 sale price by the time it closes.  Let the games begin.

One of the first 100 Falcons including the VIP card and freebies just sold  on fleabay for £1900.

@Scatterbug - where's my Falcon? :-)  I can see it going higher, but no way will the normal set go even past £1000 in my opinion when they retire (which will be for a while yet).  I'd say 75192 will be around for 4 yrs min, so that Lego can repeat the same party trick in 2027 for the 50th anniversary.  This is probably already in a strategy slide that the BCG consultants have pulled together!

Ok, I'll wager a virtual falcon. Post a link if you spot one. And do we mean a sale of double or profit of double?

I have no idea and there hasn't been any discussion behind the scenes.

NSA have finally realised that Shewie has been using BP as a means to past secrets back to his comrades in pyongyang.

Because many of them are offensive and political in nature.

We have enough experience over the years to know they're not funny (to many) nor do they generate valuable conversations in these threads.

Someone posted a message from LEGO on Facebook stating the set will NOT be made available on 01 OCT due to overwhelming sales, but I'm only seeing this message on their page:

Wouldn't make any sense for sales today to block Oct 1 release.  The inventory opened for today would not be ALL the inventory they have... they've know all along they will have a second release opening.  It's easy enough to say 'this was the VIP allotment...'

It´s all part of the drama/hype.The more they get this set talked about, the more they will sell.

Imagine how short this thread would be if everyone smoothly ordered or got theirs in store - they´d all be building right now. Look how quiet the Xmas train station thread is, for example.

Can you imagine for a moment if that's really the case though? If the initial demand was so great that they authorized sales of their entire produced stock? Another situation like the Porsche could potentially be brewing here in the short term......or maybe not. I wouldn't be surprised if all the 30 day backorder sets shipped in 10-14 days either. We've seen so much stock related misinformation in the past, that's it's hard for me to take TLG at face value anymore.

I'm crossing my fingers for you to be right regarding the time for shipping backorders.

We summised yesterday that it would go to sold out even if it didn´t sell out. Nothing to see here, please move on.

There will be plenty of stock in October, they just need to turn off the taps on all the purple Nexo bricks.

It is interesting that a number of the coolest sets released in the past year have all been instant sell outs with juicy pickings for resellers - perhaps more than they´ll ever see after retirement.

Exception is the Old Fishing Store that everyone seems to have forgotten about.

Made the call to stick with the main man and stick with 1 signature and a specific message about related to the card number I got out of the top 100

How did the other dude take the rejection?

Agreed

That would suggest the problem isn´t less demand for Lego or problems paying the price, just that there are too many of us flooding the market post retirement and undercutting each other.

When supply is scarce, people are willing to pay top dollar if they really want the set.

He seemed fine. I wasn't the only one.

Having seen some videos of the instruction manual I reckon it was the right call as Jens is included in the foreword a fair bit.

I expect the strategy is to have an allocation for today. another allocation to cover back orders for dispatch in a week then the same plot for October 1st and back orders
