finally  got one.  personally think this is all a test to see how dedicated you are and also to stave off resellers.

Given recent successes of BP's getting their orders through, then it's clear that the Webmaster must try harder then.  More errors and hurdles required!

Anybody else has this ?

My order summary on lego.com states $854.99 with $0 shipping and in my case $55.93 of taxes which is correct for NJ.

However, my credit card pending charge is for $898.78 because of that stupid $40 shipping fee that wouldn't go away and wrong tax amount.

Can you imagine the time and money Lego is going to waste to clean up all these wrong transactions.

Anyhow...

After 2 hours of F5 at home, it only took 10 seconds to order at work!

Are people giving up?  Bad Wi-Fi at home?  Lego servers catching up?

They probably restarted some stuff and reset a bunch of connections.  It might slow down again...

Mine said backordered but the freebies showed up in cart, so I placed the order anyways. Does anyone know if backorders will still qualify for the black VIP card?

Any order for 75192 placed in 2017 qualifies apparently.

Looks like they are already fixing orders.. I had one order number this morning, which had shipping charges and no promos.  When I check my order status, now I have a brand new order number, with no shipping, and promos...

FYI, according to my store's manager, they're trying to push people to buy this online, for at least the immediate future. Stores will only be getting a few of these at a time because they don't want to have to deal with damaged boxes in store and storage issues.

The exclusive cards and numbers being put on the signed boxes surely mean Lego can track which of their VIP's are flipping them?

Did they put the name on the card, and number on the VIP black card.
