Well after getting through all 8 films and trying to work out which was the bigger mistake in the prequel films Jar-Jar or Hayden Christensens wooden acting, I finally finished the mighty Falcon.

Completed and mounted.  Cannon alternates top/bottom lights. Happy to answer any questions or take different pictures if asked.

It's all perception and opinion.  To me, it was the LEGO set that changed everything.  It's the set that every other LEGO set is and was measured against and compared to.  Don't hate on the 10179.  It did it's job and will one day make some more money for some perceptive investors.   The timing for the 75192 is off.  There is much less buzz about this set than I thought there would be.  Maybe it's the fact that people  are still getting over the fact that they lost money on their 10179s or that the two sets are pretty close in design that there is no rush to buy a new version.  Maybe it's the fact that the 75192 will not be the same investment as the 10179 unless there is some sort of short production run.  

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the 75192.  I like it.  Well done set.  But to me, there is no rush to get one.  Amazon will be selling them for $599.99 in a few months...LOL

Awesome!  Thanks much.  I was in a lego store today where one of their representatives told me the posed set was reportedly going to weigh 29 lb.  I'm trying to decide how much this thing will cost to ship if sold on eBay.

 

Oh, they also brought out a piece of one of the boxes and let me see the set in their digital previewing screen.  It has five panels on the top that lift off.  It showed a good portion of the actual modal having a detailed interior.  It was really cool to see, and something I've been curious about since the photos on the SAH listing only give a vague glimpse inside.

Talked to two employees at my store (US). They are getting 5 copies for the release, with their regular shipment arriving the same day with possibly more MF's on that truck. They said they are expecting regular shipments after release. Buying between now and 12/31 will get the special VIP card shipped to your house and will be "in special packaging" with your name "engraved" on it. Card is plastic they think. It was certainly impressive to see in person, speaking as someone who didn't think I'd ever have a chance to get one. It will look great with the Slave I.

Here are some information I got today when I saw the 75192 box. They only received 4.

The box (carton box) size : 22 x 19 x 16

The Black VIP card is not available at the time of purchase. They will mail you the Black VIP card within 4-6 weeks using USPS. 

The black VIP card will be replacing with your current card (so same number) and it will be engraved your name on the back of the card.

well now I really want them to change my name in the system to QF LL

I probably could get it done too, that would be iconic...
