Spartikis Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Might want to look into this set, its part of the previous Castle theme, released in 2009 i believe and is currently back ordered through July 16th, i imagine this set will be discontinued very soon. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Medieval-Market-Village-10193 Quote
timinchicago Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Yes this set has been around for awhile now and seems like it is nearing the end of the road. It is a good set with great price per piece (1602/$100). Quote
Spartikis Posted May 25, 2012 Author Posted May 25, 2012 Ive got one of these built and one for investment but i would love to pick up a few more, like you said the price per piece is great and would be great for any medieval/castle village creation. Quote

I can see this set doubling it's value a short time after it is discontinued. Quote
Spartikis Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 The back order date has been pushed back to Aug 2nd. Looking more and more like this set is on the way out. Quote
Ed Mack Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 The back order date has been pushed back to Aug 2nd. Looking more and more like this set is on the way out.I have had one back ordered for about a month. I am curious to see if it will ship. Quote
stackables Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 So I asume it is about time I pick this set up then? Quote
Danny Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I also purchased this along with 10217 Diagon Alley about a month ago from LEGO. Diagon Alley finally shipped last week. But this one is still on backorder until July for me. I wanted to build it and see if I liked it before buying a second copy for investment. (same thing I want to do with Diagon Alley, but haven't built it yet. It seemed smaller and lighter than I was expecting) Anyone else like Diagon Alley for investment? I know there was a blog on it on here... Quote
stackables Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Decided to pick the set up. Looks like it is getting pretty hard to find. Quote
BigEZ96 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Picked up another 10193 today at the LEGO store. They only had 2 left and no more coming in. I guess this is the EOL for The Medieval Marketplace. Quote
timinchicago Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I was at TRU this weekend and did not see any MMV in stock. Surprisingly they still had 3 Mill Village Raids in stock. All in great condition but unfortunately all with the TRU $20 markup on them. The best bet to get MMV is to order it from LEGO Shop at Home and hope for the best. Quote
BigEZ96 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Thanks for the hint! 5% off and free shipping with a Red card. Quote
Ematics Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 UPDATE: MM is about to die soon. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Medieval-Market-Village-10193 http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=10193-1 Quote
Katsumi Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Looks like #10193 may be gone for good. Lego shop has it retiring soon, had "Call for Availability" yesterday, and today it says sold out. Quote
M4x18 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 No longer available from LEGO Shop at Home Spain or Germany, so I assume form none of the EU locations. Has the day finally arrived? Quote
Ed Mack Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 No longer available from S@H Spain or Germany, so I assume form none of the EU locations. Has the day finally arrived? All signs are a go... Quote
Rich B Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 No longer available from LEGO Shop at Home Spain or Germany, so I assume form none of the EU locations. Has the day finally arrived? I sure hope so!! Now we can continue waiting for this to happen to the DS and FB haha Quote
StarCityBrickCompany Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I sure hope so!! Now we can continue waiting for this to happen to the DS and FB haha Hopefully, since no one is ever expecting the DS to go EOL anymore - we will get surprised. I thought they would go away 2 1/2 years ago & loaded up on them. Quote
JohnAndHeather Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I got one of the last ones from LEGO.com for $99USD (it said "call for availability and they gave me a 50/50 chance of receiving it). :D Quote
deanearp Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 If you could buy this set for $79.99, how many would you buy? Quote
Huskers1236 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 If you could buy this set for $79.99, how many would you buy? I would definitely pick up a couple. I don't think it will be a home run since it has been widely available for so long, but it is a very cool set that will always be wanted by Castle enthusiasts. I firmly believe this will be a $150-200 set in a few years, especially if the Castle line makes a true comeback like it looks like and people want to have this villager set. I have 2 and have always planned on building one of them to go with some of the other Castle stuff. Quote
jbreaux Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 LegoShop.com has it available in US today. I just called and placed an order. It must be in limited quantities because you can't order it online. Quote
