Question

I just now came across this crazy lego deal. The man tells me it's 200 for everything in the picture. Is this too good to be true? Some of these sets are 200 dollars alone! I appreciate your responses

My gut says it's legit because it is set up like a garage sale and the seller either hasn't taken the time to look up its true value or doesn't care and just wants it gone. They all look used and open. If it was stock photos of sealed sets at a bargain basement price then I'd be skeptical. Give the guy a call and go check it out. Just the other day another member found a mostly complete / sealed bags Taj Mahal at a garage sale for like $45, so you never know. Good luck.

The only thing to look out for the usual scams with Craigslist - especially the "oh, I'm moving, I'll send them to you, just wire me the money."

But, if they are agreeable to meet at their location (or a neutral location), then you should be fine.

I hope it works out.  But be cautious of the con.  What makes the con so good, is they basically get you to want to give your money to them despite the warning signs that may appear.
