They already have the licenses needed with Ford and Universal. However, if it is the Kitchen scene and not a larger scale Visitors Center scene, I will be disappointed. I think it´s a lost in translation thing classic meaning system lego. Why cannibalise sales of sets for the new film when they could have released original movie sets in the gap between the previous and forthcoming film. Quote

Kids always want the current stuff that is in the cinema at the moment. The classic set with the Ford Explorer would mostly cater for adults with nostalgia, a different market. It would be a smart choice for LEGO to release a smaller adult oriented set (not necessarily D2C, just a solid design with great details and minifigs). Quote
John82 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Another Raptor has just leaked, apparently it does come from a Park set. Here is a description: "The central element of the set will be a fragment of the center for visitors to the Jurassic Park with a wide dispatch room and a small kitchen. Minifigs: Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Lex and Tim". Maybe those leaked minifigs from earlier in the week are real, you can see the Lego logo on the studs of the Raptor. Quote

Isnt it weird to include characters from the "original line" (Alan, Ellie, Lex, Tim) to a spin-off product.. ??? Quote

CosmicSpeed Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) None of this shows the Alan Grant minifig. So it is either an elaborate fake or further helps promote a 25th set coming. I have a soft spot for Duplo animals and the ones in 10879 are too cute to pass up. Edited February 16, 2018 by CosmicSpeed Quote

Have you filled in all the blanks on the large price points for the sets to come this year? I cant find the post. With the HP set announced, it has to narrow the options for remaining possibilities. Mark Twain Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 The junior sets are the only exciting ones. I think 10758 will help double RRP quickly once it retires. 1 Quote

My list is for D2C so there are sets that will be released at a higher point but are not Direct 2 Consumer Exclusives e.g Technic Crane, Bugatti. I reckon there are a couple of slots missing in any case as, if not, we are going to have a higher number of d2Cs retiring than being released this year. Edited February 16, 2018 by Val-E Quote

I think that these two little monsters are just so cuuuute like the ones in the original movie.. wish I could have one (alive) in my garden.. ? .. almost as cute as turtles - which, btw - are THE MOST ADORABLE cuties ever.. Val-E Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Baby dinosaurs > baby dragons so we just need one set to have an Dragon Sanctuary type shelf life and we will all be able to retire soon. Quote
crayxlp Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 ever had small turtles (tortoises)? - try it and you wont have to look elsewhere.. these "things" are so funny when you touch their rear legs they retract them into the carapace - but oh! there is not enough space so they have to pull out their front legs or a neck with a head.. its an "immense fun" for children trying to watch the poor thing to get all of its legs covered inside - but simply no space.. and for the adults.. most of them can just simply see the tortoise head resembling so much an E.T. head.. sorry. I just got taken away by my turtles.. Quote

Guest TabbyBoy Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 Any idea which set will be the next "Raptor Escape"? I'd expect one set to be short lived to make building the hybrid difficult. I wonder how heavily hoarded the biggest set will be this time around. However, I do like what I see and Juniors is not to be underestimated IMHO. Quote
crayxlp Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Brick Fan today released new box art pictures - see below 1 Quote
crayxlp Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 .. walk through the JW is probably not exactly like a walk through a rose garden .. works for me. NICE! 1 Quote
