Hi all,

I have got reliable informations that the next landmark set will come from Germany at the end of this year and will be the Reichstag building:

It would also fit into the schema of the last made english landmark Big Ben - similar build for both.

Disappointing if true.  I'm sure that's a famous building in Germany, or maybe even Europe, but it's not going to move the needle over here.  Another big tan building is not going to go over well.  There are so many amazing buildings out there to create, this is not one of them.

The thing is that we had already following countries covered:

Great Britain - 2x

USA - 1x

France - 1x

India - 1x

Australia - 1x

The next logical step would be to include one building from Italy or Germany.

But I have to agree, the choice is disappointing - Brandenburg Gate would be the better one...

Not gonna happen - it´s not a well enough known building. Maybe as a smaller set.

Should we bet? Which set do you want to offer vs. my MR? ;-)

How about Italy? I mean if they cant find any fabulous Architecture there to do Lego needs to evaluate the group making these decisions. I know they made the Tower of Pisa and Venice but there are sooooooooo many examples to choose from.

I have a 60004 fire station looking for a good home. Winner pays shipping.

It's too bad Lego won't go the Cathedral route, there are so many amazing ones across Europe.  St. Basil's would be at the top of my list, but there are many others that would be worthy.  I'm sure we could all make a top 20 list and this building probably wouldn't crack it.  Colosseum is at the top of mine right now, but only if done right.

But you said it was reliable info :(

Yes, it still is. But nothing is for sure... Clinton's election in US was also 100% sure in the German media... :-)

There isn't a "fake media" outlet in existence that didn't make that prediction. ;)

I could imagine it as an architecture set but Creator Expert landmark? Seems like an odd choice.

If you took the flags and text away and showed me that picture I couldn't tell you what building it was and I'm from Europe and pretty worldly wise. All the other creator landmark sets are almost instantly recognisable world wide.

For German media the Trump electors are simply stupid...

But on the other side, what should we expect from folks who are still following their own Cancellar like Lemmings...
