Are people really buying those Ninjago sets...?

No idea. I got them for free last month, at least those have some interesting parts.

And the sandcrawler mark up is just stupid.

How are you guys even finding those sets? Sandcrawler, Slave I, etc aren't even showing up for me anywhere on TRU.com anymore. Anything over $200 has been completely removed.

Was in hard to find section with ~$100 mark ups

Yup. Everything I found that I wanted has been marked up now. So, good luck to everyone that was able to find something they wanted...

Yeah. Good times. Finally live and just about anything good is back to RRP or higher. I was holding out optimism for some 20% off stacked on the sales prices from earlier this morning, but not so much.imagegif

Seeing some discrepancies in when I search the site on mobile: Yep, cannot find the "hard to find" items, but 60052 Cargo Train is listed at $156.99, 60097 City Square is $161.99, 75919 I-Rex is $122.99, etc... haven't tried adding to cart or applying the coupon, but... hmmm...

When making a payment with gc on TRU website, is there a benefit to using partial pay at all? I know with cc there is the 10% benefit on Thursdays. Will you still receive cashback on the full amount with a full gc payment? Thanks in advance!

As far as I know there's no benefit online.

One other thing, I'm curious if anyone who used it online is able to later use it in store under the same rewards account?  Just to see if they are trying to be smarty pants with this one.

I am fairly certain you still have to use the cc for partial pay to get the 2x points online. I know that is how it was last year but have not tried recently.

You do and you'll still get the standard points if you use a gift card.  It will apply t he full points to the amount that is charged to the credit card.  No benefit to partial pay online, since standard points will be applied to the gift card amount.

Anyone think this will stack with the single item 20% coupon from the first post? It only excludes other total purchase coupons in the fine print.

We've answered this several times. Please stop asking.

Apologies if this has been asked, but can we use TRU rewards online with this F&F 20% coupon? I would like to know before creating the rewards and I know there has historicaly been some oddities trying to use coupons with rewards.

I figure I will pick up some of the Speed Champions sets that are not marked up, since I rarely (if ever?) see them on sale. Same for Rey's Speeder. Not fantastic deals, but I can do it whilst sitting on my butt, so that's worth something, right?

This sale might be good for me.  I might run in and get some Mazes, Wall-E, and Falcons.  I have lots of rewards to burn.

Agree!  Picked up couple Architecture Trevi Fountain 21020 and an Architecture The Eiffel Tower 21019 with 20% and discounted gift card.  Didn't try to use Reward Points because was afraid it wouldn't stack and plus I have plans for using them when the "hard to find" items return :).

I was able to pick up a slave one that they price adjusted to the original 199.99 + TRUTH+ 20% coupon and used $40 in rewards points. Also got the maze using TRUTH and the 20% coupon............:victory:

LoL with the post above this one.  goodness gracious.

So is that a no? I legitimately searched this thread and couldn't find info specifically for my TRU Rewards + the 20% F&F online. I'm not talking about stacking the single item coupon.

You're trying to buy a $120 item. You have $100 in rewards. Rewards applied. You have $20 balance. 20% coupon applied. You have $16 balance before tax. (% discounts when using rewards only work well if that item is already discounted, such as a weekly promotion where all of LEGO City sets are 30% off...you should see that 30% off reflected before rewards are applied)

lol sorry man, my brain was in coupon stacking mode cause i read the post above yours.  yeah rewards dollars would work.  for me they've always taken the rewards off first before discount.

Thanks gentlemen. I will hold on using Rewards and save them for later. That's a bummer that they apply before the discount.

Exciter, I asked in this thread and the daily deals thread and dos not see anyone answer the question in either of those as no one had tried in store. If I missed the answer, I apologize.
