As soon as someone is able to, please confirm that the TRU 20% coupon works on Lego or not.

Also curious if someone could try it on a Technic set. I know it clearly says REGULAR price items only but that would be an epic sale on some big items if it worked.

Also, if anyone has a SLAVE I in your area, please let us know if the 20% works on it. That will be big news either way.

Good luck pickers!

It does I just picked it up for 159.99 plus tax and got a free ninjago flyer even with the coupon. Slave was 199.99 at my toys r us I did not even need manager over ride. All rang up perfect

Saw 2 Slave 1's on the shelf at my local TRU.  Picked up the one with the better box using the 20% off coupon, $10 in Bing rewards, and the 20% off GCs(don't trust these to last till TRUTH here with that coupon floating around).

TFA Millenium Falcon was back down to MSRP as well for whatever reason.

Went to use my 20% today.  No exclusives. No UCS in store.  City sites that were 20% off would not stack with this coupon and they were so over priced weren't worth it for just the regular 20% sale

So I picked up 75105 Millenium a Falcon for a little over $100 counting the 20% off and a $25 gift card I had.

Was as hoping some bigger sets were there but I still didn't have 7505 so that works.  Now I just need a kylo Ren ship at a decent deal for all force awakens sets.

I click on the link to the 20% coupon on TRU's website to print it out and it just says that there are no coupons available. Do I need that, or is that picture of the barcode on the mobile app good enough?

Has anyone had issues with using the 20% coupon multiple times? The associate scanned my the rewards card first then the coupon, is there any concern for them tracking / banning for multiple uses?

Have not had or heard of any problems to date.  Its possible if they do a manual audit of your history, but highly unlikely.  As with anything if you abuse it you are taking a risk, but the risks are generally pretty small.

Not sure if it's been discussed or if it's every store, but my TRU had a few random sets marked down outside of the 20% sale. JW Raptor Rampage was 47.99 and pteranodon capture was around 21.49. Not sure if the coupon would've worked since some of them did end in .99.

You just need to call the surrounding stores and ask. Sorta hit and miss with UCS sets and exclusives stocked at certain TRU...

Yes, no substitute for checking physically. I have bought three 42009 Mk II cranes the last few weeks from TRU, even though it is no longer even listed as available on their site.

Guess we'll just have to use the coupon on page 1 of this thread.  Or the PDF any responsible BPer would have made this morning when it was available.

Toys_R_Us - 20% Off - One Regular-Priced Item.pdf

Just wanted to say thanks again...
