Loghamel
We need someone to try an item that is NOT on sale AND is over $100 AND make sure the cashier hits the CC button. That will be the defining transaction. I'll be going, but it will be around 10:00 CST tomorrow night. If noone can confirm by then, I'll let you all know. Poly 30286
Just seeing if I can post links to the coupons. 20% off TRU "Hard Copy" 20% off TRU mobile One item

When you call they should be able to look and see if and what it was used on. These were actually good 6 hours after issue if they gave you a promo card not a merchandise credit or GC.
baschloinka
Saddest TRUTH in a long time. Walked in and saw the manager working that doesn't like the electronic coupons. Went to the LEGO section and saw over a dozen Dr. Who on the shelf (hit on the QFLL prospects) and that it was now $64.99. Looking around, TRU has jacked up the prices on many of the sets. Ecto-1 ($59.99), BBT ($64.99), C3PO ($5.99), Snowman ($10.99), a single T-Rex tracker that was clearly a return ($82.99), and lots of others. No AT-AT to be found. No mistaken placement of Hulk polybag out early. I don't know if 10% CC stacks with price match, but I have never had a coupon stack with price match. Walked out empty-handed. Achilles
TRUTH Should work with price match, coupons should not. (YMMV). Some folks talk about getting a "price adjustment" instead of a price match, but I suspect this is a slight bending of the rules because even if it's TRU's website it should on paper count as a price match. Depends on how comfortable you are bending some rules or how friendly you are with your local staff/manager. The electronic coupon thing - a couple of my regional stores were very concerned about "original TRU coupons" the last couple of times I've been in, which they never cared about before - so the corporate memo has apparently gone out. Some stores may care more than others, obviously. But I suspect there will be some changes resellers won't like coming to the wide world of TRU sooner rather than later.
thegooch49
I have one tactic that seems to help in regards to electronic coupons. TRU has a text alert program, where they text goofy sales and such to your cell phone. I always say that the coupons I have were part of the text message enrollment. The managers / checkers that I deal with seem to know that the text alerts exist, but they don't know any of the specifics. I tell them a link was texted to me, and I saved it to my phone. It seems to work for me, but they are VERY laxed and it's probably not even necessary. But maybe give it a try if they are on the fence, and asked where you got it. It's a buyable story.

I wouldn't be surprised if the trouble stacking new coupons was because of this as well.

Poly 30286
That awkward moment when you have to close the BP app to find your coupon... Bought myself Arendelle Celebration Castle for $43.19 + 8% back in rewards!

2x4
I stopped in yesterday and today- Dr. Who was regular price yesterday, bumped up to $64.99 today. I was pleased to see yet another Lonely Mountain set today, which I picked up. The 20% and 10% stacked fine. I did not try using the $5 off $25. It worked for me in September, but last month I was told I couldn't combine coupons. Could anyone please help a non-native English speaking Brickpicker and clarify what "TRUTH" means here? I get "TRU" - but the rest? Thanks! Th = Thursdays

It's on the first page of this thread. If the cashier says it's expired due to the date on it, just tell them it's an error and the coupon is good until end of year.
