ISO8T0
Did you use tru cc? That coupon requires it.
micbelt
Yup. 20% coupon worked fine but the 5 off 25 would not.
dcdfan
Did you have over $25 total after the other coupons? That's been the only time I couldn't get it to work was when I got the total down too far...
jerryherb
Well done, I thought that the $75 for bricktober had to be AFTER all the discounts. You got yours at $71 (meaning that it applied to the pre-discount price). Nice. i paid as little as $62 out the door and still got freetobered
Tgnmonster
Same here, I ended up paying $60, and still got the promo because the price started above $75.
Achilles
That seems to be YMMV, I think it scans up in the system, but my cashier took back the Bricktober promo after the coupons lowered the price under $75. So... I didn't put up a fight. I'll just get a larger item that ends up being $75 next time.It was annoying though.

I have 4 of the hotels and 2 stations. I'll trade one hotel for a station and work on having three sets. Besides the way I look at it, I got Wall-e for $40 and two free bricktobers............;)

Besides the way I look at it, I got Wall-e for $40 and two free bricktobers............;)I kinda like the strategy of buying the old ones actually. If you get a Wall-E for $59 and an older bricktober for $20, you qualify for another free bricktober. That's $80 before coupons. After coupons, you are roughly at $50 out the door (20%, 15%, $5) before taxes. Thoese two bricktober sets will instantly flip for a $18 net gain each. That makes for a VERY cheap Wall-E.
zskid00
Fuzzy math getting you to $50 pre-tax.Wall-E $59.99 - 20% - $5 = $43Bricktober $19.99 - 15% = $17Free Bricktober = $0TOTAL = $60 pre-tax
longshot
You can add 5 off 25 and an extra 10% on TRUTH.........I had some rewards so it brought it down to $40ish
zskid00
Already used $5 off in my calculation. Rewards are earned on other purchases so not everyone calculates those the same. You can get this combo down to $54 pre-tax on TRUTH if your TRU is cooperative and they have Bricktobers left by then.
jerryherb
havent had problems with bricktobers availability by thu thus far. it does not appear they sell them outright, in my area anyways. and yes. rewards apply and should only be calculated in when used, no fuzzy math there, just subtract from the total BEFORE ALL OTHER COUPONS, as thats how the POS will apply them most of the time unless you make fuss about it (which i do).
Kenxxx
Got shot down at a Charlotte TRU today (not my usual one). Buying two items + Bricktober with 4 coupons. First, I saw they had all four Bricktober sets stacked neatly behind the service desk where I was checking out... I already had the first three, so I said, "Oh... I see you have them all there... can I get a blue one?" Answer: "No""Well, then can I get the Hotel from two weeks ago?"... "No... you get this one this week." ... okay..."Well here are my coupons..." Cashier: "Um... I'll try it, but I don't think this is gonna work...<scan, scan, scan...beep... looking at the screen> Whoops... Nope. THAT is Babies R Us coupon, and this one won't work, because it's supposed to be off a regularly priced item, and you're already getting the Bricktober set for free.." etc. Ah well... I guess I'll put these back on the shelf then... sorry. So don't take it personally. Some stores will take the coupons, and some won't. And some cashiers are better than others. Tell them you are going to use multiple coupons and ask if this is ok,nicely. This increase the chance of success..... if get answer no walk away and let you wife try later.3. Try to use 2 coupons on big item instead of 4 on 2 item, go after new xwing or MFhope this helps.

Also, when successful, be sure to ask them to put their name on the receipt so when you do the TRU survey you can mention them...
