TRUTH Tactics : and now the end is here

Noob question: How do rewards play with TRUTH, coupons, etc? Not combine-able? Rewards come off price first, ...then 10%, etc?  Is there a proper "order" to present rewards to cashier?  (Sorry if been answered before... on my way to TRU now, and a bit pressed for time).

Thanks for all the advice... I didn't use those rewards... I'm taking (I think it was) Pseudoty's tip: don't use rewards in store.  Use them for big exclusives online... and then, only for items you know you will never ever want to return.  I had a nice reward last month... decided to put it towards a Slave 1.  A bit too soon on this set for me, but it was the only exclusive they had at MSRP.  I'm glad I did... looks like they removed it from their site?

It appears Raise.com has hit a (hopefully temporary) breaking point with TRU gift cards.  TRU and BRU are not even showing up in their lists of available cards now.  I don't know who lost money on the FAO-disappearing-balance fiasco, but it wasn't me.  All of mine that disappeared were refunded.  I'm guessing that is why they are gone now.

Those cards are practically non-existant on other gift card resale sites as well.  As I have nearly depleted my stash of discounted gift cards, I am getting the shakes from imminent TRUTH withdrawal.  (Because we all know only a fool would settle for 4 levels of discounting. ;))

Toys"R"Us gift cards are currently out of stock!

As Raise is a marketplace, gift cards can sell out at any time. Email alerts will notify you when more become available.

Actually, when used correctly, rewards give you the best bang for your out of pocket costs. You just have to work on the math a bit differently.

Also, Pseudoty have used rewards in store as shown on his receipt from a few pages back.

Yes you can stack the $200 Reward with coupons you just have to do rewards card, items, coupons, Reward, partial pay, GC. If they scan the reward first it takes the $200 off before discount is applied and if you use CC first it won't take the reward.

I tried using the same 20% off on multiple Bricktober Hotels in one transaction today and it did not work for me. So I had to plan B it. But I thought I read on here that it does anyone have steps to duplicate it?

What do you mean by "out of pocket costs?"

Well done, I thought that the $75 for bricktober had to be AFTER all the discounts. You got yours at $71 (meaning that it applied to the pre-discount price). Nice.

I'm pretty impressed, because you usually have trouble at your TRU.  Hopefully this means things have turned around for you!
