TRU TH + 20% off GC and I would go ahead with these. Found these very same sets few weeks ago in SoCal and I did not buy only beacause I did not have those discounted GCs anymore. Lesson learned: w two daughters discounted gift cards are never too many. Somebody wrote about this already (AM?) but you need to make your own mistakes to really learn.

yea, I think I will pull the trigger on the IR.

I have a decent combination of rewards, GC, and using TRUTH.  I've actually never used TRUTH before.  I present all of my GC, rewards, etc, and the rest is put on the credit card?

Yeap and mention you want the TRUTH discount righ away, first thing. First item of your checklist.

If this is the first time you use TRUTH remember you might qualify for 15% off instead of 10%.

Only applies for the first day if I remember correctly.  Applies all day at multiple stores, but only the day you apply for the card.

Was able to get the 15% off a couple weeks after getting the card. Rule might be different if you applied for card online vs at the store.

I really didn't read the fine print.  I 'thought' I had to use it that day.  Probly should read it.  One of these days when the right opportunity presents itself, I'm going to ask my wife nicely to apply for one herself.

Check your RewardsRUs accounts I got 50K in points back this morning that's $2K

Toys“R”Us IT security team identified an attempt to gain unauthorized access to Rewards“R”Us accounts and thus redeem some members’ Reward coupons between November 11, 2016 and January 17, 2017. Out of an abundance of caution, we have reinstated any points associated with your account during the corresponding timeframe to help minimize any customer inconvenience.

I got the same notice. Must be the reason why no one was able to print any rewards for the past few days/weeks. They must have been busy trying to figure this all out and what to do about it.

Thanks for the heads up!  I didn't receive a notice, but I was unable to log-in to my account this morning.  I had to reset my password and then I could see a "points adjustment" with an additional 3,000+ points in my account.  Now to cash in my points before TRU takes them back.

Thanks for the heads up!  I got lots of points back, so I printed out some of the rewards certificates right away and am going to head to TRU at lunch before they disappear or something.

I got a similar message but it just encouraged me to reset my password "out of an abundance of caution."  No points reinstated.  So... maybe they know exactly which accounts were accessed (or were attempted to be accessed).

I got this message and in November some did get into my account and cleared my rewards out.  I also had to reset my password again.  I cannot find any contact info for Rewards R Us issues, does anybody have contact info or does it just go thru toysrus?

You forfeit the reward cert if you return what you bought with it.

Im stuck in the "email/password does not match" hell right now.

Interestingly, I have a reward loaded on my phone that expires next week. I may run to the store tomorrow to use it and see what happens.

Alpine,

You have to reset your password. I used the "I forgot my password" tab, key in your membership number and email and then "Submit". I believe it asks you your security question and then will let you select a new password. I believe with the security breach incident that all of the passwords were reset by TRU and you have to select a new one in order to access your account again. These steps worked for me and I was able to see my account and print rewards.
