Wow....guess I know when I fell asleep last night.

So, second try....

Am I the only one wondering how to become a LEGO authenticator? I'd be happy to accept the fee to inspect the goods.

Sounds like an advanced form of escrow, but it makes sense for eBay because it's an area where their platform is probably a better fit for certain items/sales than Amazon.
