schmidtywerben Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Hello. My name is Jacob and am new to this site though not new to LEGOs. I've loved them since I was a kid and am now 20 years old. I really like the site and like how I am able to keep up with the latest and greatest news of LEGOs. I really like the Architecture Series and hope to complete the series soon. Awesome site! maestro Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 hello from Ireland. Haven't played with Lego for a long long time . . . Interested in some sets to build like the Death Star but also considering the following as investments 1. VW Camper Van 2. Super Star Destroyer (UCS) 3. Haunted House Probably won't be able to resist building them though :-) Quote
Fcbarcelona101 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Welcome, hope you find the site useful! Those are some great choices as far as investment goes. You should be fine with any of them! Quote
BigEZ96 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Welcome! Excellent choices for investing! And don't worry if you do give in to building, that's the whole fun of Lego! Quote

JoshTX Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Good choices! If you have the urge to build they are fun sets as well....but I guess that's the problem with buying sets you like! Welcome! Quote

akohns Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Rule of thumb. Build one, invest in one. You can easily buy a used one to build and a new one to invest in if you like the set if you want to save a bit of money. Quote
maestro Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Thank you all for saying Hi and the good wishes! I have just spent a total of $1560 on the following . . .
