TigerEyez
So I was looking at some jeans in the F&F deal that started and when I put it together I was getting the $10 off $50 coupon, but I looked at adding a small Duplo set for my kid to push me over the $49 free shipping. When I got back the $10 off $50 wasn't on anymore. Somebody mentioned using the code instead, where do I find the SYW code for a particular coupon? FYI I'm a SYW ludiite

MinifigW
I'm working on an "intro to the Shop Your Way & free Lego" video for those who have been asking/ PMing and DMing me questions on here and Instagram. If anyone has any tips that you think should be on it, screenshots of crazy purchases / coupon stacking, or general opinions about this idea please PM me (you will be credited if I use any pictures or tips that you send me) My hope is that it will help out those who are new to the circus.

Don't work too long on it or the company might not exist when you release it.

TigerEyez
Thanks, but I just opened it in my SYW app, instead of the Sears webpage, and it was back to the original price. Not bad, three pair of Roebuck jeans (which are more comfortable than Levi's) and a Shelby T-shirt for $44. I've lost 28 pounds since New Years, so I'm short on pants. I now have a fine collection of pricey Lucky jeans that look like Z Cavaricci's when I put a belt on, b/c they pleat between the front pockets and the button. trstnkn
I just had a boatload of points hit. Curious, do most of you establish a target % off for each item and go from there with coupons, etc.? I could either blow it on a few large sets -or- target more sets at a generous % off. I'm not finding too many generous points back offers, so was going to go for coupon usage and sets already discounted. Also, does KMT have a certain clearance cadence? E.g. Target has a 15%/30/50 with each cadence being 1-2 weeks depending on inventory levels. Mine had quite a bit on clearance but nothing I would bite on until it was greater than 20% off. I like to use my points on items that are already discounted, or on items that I can discount further with coupons, or in deals where I get a (significant) part of the points I spend back in fresh points. Not having the luxury of a KMart store nearby, I am limited in selection though (I only buy items that ship to my Sears store - dang it, I'm starting to sound like @cladner and his NH tax-free stores ....)
trstnkn
Thanks, PhilB. I always take that approach when I have a smaller amount. Seems appropriate to apply to large amount. Do you only ship to store to get the extra points and more assurance of pristine boxes? I only ship to store with large sets. However, I bought a large set that I was going to part out. Arrived today and to my surprise, KMT actually does have boxes to fit the larger sets! The one time I don't care, it arrives with nary a ding or dent... I ship to store to avoid nasty stares from my wife I'm officially on a "no more LEGO" diet, but I make an exception for (nearly) free LEGO from KMart .... Do note that there are a few coupons out there for larger amounts. I've seen $30 back on $150 etc. Depending on how large the sets are that you intend to order, those might be helpful - especially if you manage to stack with a "15% off 1 toy" coupon and a "$x back on $y" (I think there is a $25 back on $125+ coupon). Phil B
Red Wheel (http://www.shopyourway.com/app/16250/l) is paying out for me today: On my primary SYW account: So I'm bragging here Did win 950 points in various random sweeps for a total of $1. Then I switched over to my secondary account, and won exactly $0 by playing all Sweeps. Decided to give the Red Wheel a whirl there too, and got this: Not complaining

I'm not sure if portal purchases count though? That's something I've never factored in.
FM
KMART PROMOTION: SPEND $30 ON TOYS, GET $10 IN POINTS, IN-STORE SIGN THROUGH 7/29/17 I saw this in the store yesterday, pulled up the $5 off $35 coupon and made a few purchases. I had to call a SYW supervisor, but I did get my points today (shows "Pending"). The numbers look like this for me: $31.34 for 76034 Batman - The Batboat Harbour Pursuit + $4.99 small set = 36.33; Take $5 off = 31.33; Add $10 in points = $21.31 (41% off). After GC Discount + tax I was at $22.02... $19 for the Batboat Depending on the item prices you'll need to play with the purchase amounts to try to get as close to $35 or $50 to use the coupons. By default the $30 requirement is met with the use of the $35 coupon ($35-5=30). So if you max out the coupon (purchases of exactly 35 or 50) the respective theo maximum discounts are $35-5-10-.35 = 44% and $50-10-10-.50 = 41% It's KMart, so naturally they raised the prices on nearly all of the new sets, but the older active and retired sets were left unchanged. FINE PRINT (sorry, the pic isn't very clear) * The sign was in the store, but it did not mention that it was only for in-store purchases * The total must be at $30, before sales tax and after discounts, so discounts are basically encouraged * Excludes clearance items * It runs until 7/29 * On the SYW Order History page it reads "In select stores only" - so YMMV
Lordoflego
As bad as your pic is (first of all, thanks for the tip @FM) I'm pretty sure it says "offer available in-store & online". Now let's try to confirm it

Now let's try to confirm it Sure as hell isn't online. I'm pretty sure that's just the fine print that's pre-printed on the "Member special" tags and signs, in which they print the actual offer over it. I've seen that done with "clearance" signs. Nice score FM. I would personally pick up some of the Lego movie sets that where in store on Sunday for 10-15% off, get to $50 then use a $10/50 and $10 in points to get to exactly $30.
