KMart/Sears - Shop Your Way Rewards and points discussion

Recommended Posts

Random question - any tips for maximizing points received through Lands End or is it just a flat low %?  It is not in the partners section, and I'm having trouble finding clear info.  My kids are enrolling in school that requires uniforms bought only through LE.  Of course, my mind immediately then jumps to SYW and free Lego...

As always thanks for the flow of tips.  Appreciated the toy survey and $20 bump in rewards.

Check your offerbases people, this was the most generous storewide points back offer I've seen online in a LONG time.

"Members get $20 CASHBACK in points when you spend $40 or more at select Kmart Stores. Points awarded next day and valid for 14 days. Max 20,000 Points per Member. INSTORE and ONLINE"

*might* be dependent on what you set as your local store

$5 FC on $5 toy purchase is now active, remember to use it before the 29th.

Also I noticed that the $1 bonus spins on both WinIt and Xtra are generously “enabled”. Won three $1 spins so far, so keep checking...

I'm not liking the silent update to Free Shipping (including SYW MAX Shipping) that SYW did last week. Effectively killing the usefulness of $5 off $35 coupons (which are about the best coupons I get right now, and rarely).

Basically, Free Shipping starts at $35 after coupons right now. So if, like me, you want to buy items that are not available in store, you need $40.00+ to be able to use a $5 off $35 coupon to avoid the $4.49 shipping charge. So $5 off $35 becomes $5 off $40.

In-store is better of course.

$20 FC on $40 purchase at Kmart site-wide.  Stacks with coupons (minus Hot Buys).

Has been active for almost 2 weeks....

PS: anyone get the $10 FC on $10 purchase offer from the survey to work online? Shows only on SYW for me, doesn't apply on a KMart.com cart.

For anyone still holding TRU Cards

Kmart, a big box department store chain fully owned by Sears, will allow customers to cash in Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us gift cards at store locations across the U.S. in exchange for its “FREECASH” reward points. It is offering $10 in points in exchange for gift cards, to be put toward any in-store purchase of $10 or more. Kmart will also offer $5 in points toward the in-store purchase of any toy worth $5 or more – an incentive aimed at attracting more consumers into its children’s department.

This promo ended yesterday (4/28) but seems to have reset for this week. Have at it! I also see a $10 on $100 and a $12 on $120 offer in my Offerbase, though only one of the two applied to my cart.

You guys may know this...but....there are some quite generous cash back offers on the Technic sets. Example - Technic First Responder 42075 is $41.59 with $20.83 back in points.

Anything that's $40 gets $20 back.  The deal just renewed that's been running the past 2 weeks.  One-time use

Posting this so I don't get tempted to buy this myself:

Sales prices on LocBin wall-system storage containers: Set of 24 bins plus mounting racks in various colors, as cheap as $36 for the Yellow bins. Comes with up to $50 back in points when you buy 3 sets (72 bins). Managed to make the total points back $63+ with 4 sets (96 bins) earlier today, but cannot replicate that anymore (perhaps my $12 back on $120 expired). Couldn't get a $20 off $150 coupon to apply though. Might be a good deal for some of you who need more storage space for LEGO ...... 72 bins for $109+tax, plus $51 back in points.

EDIT: Several other Cashback deals have posted at Sears: http://www.sears.com/deals/center/hot-deals.html/dealGrid?soldBy=sears&event=Members Only, including:

$50 back on $125+ Camping

$75 back on $200 Kayaks&Accessories

50% back on Craftsman tools (online only)

$50-$400 back on select appliances

$80 back on Kenmore top freezer fridges

$50 back on $100 footwear

It actually works separately. I've done it now two different times. Today I have used the $20/40 deal and the Technic deal in separate transactions for a total of $40+ in cash back. And I did the same thing last week. Now we'll see if all of the points show up.

Points might only show up on one transaction if you did 2 the same day.  I think that happened to someone else here.

Correct: Until the first item ships, the offer still seems to apply to your next order. Only one of the two orders will get the $20 back in points. Of course you can always try to contact SYW and get the other $20 based on your order confirmation, but that's a real YMMV. It's $20 max per member for the promo.
