No eyebrow raised. It seems to be WHEN you get it, and who is at the register. If it's a Lead (like an Assistant manager) they're pretty cool. But the regular people have to get approval from a lead before selling in quantities. If they're lazy, they'll just say no. And if you ask for it by the case, they get suspicious. =) 2 Quote
donbee Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Ok. Which one of you is it?Who's undercutting me on BL?Completely unnecessary. 30 secs of market research will show that 40252 sells like McRibs at $32.99 There's no justification for selling under $30, except laziness. I'm watching you ;( 3 Quote

Frank Brickowski Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 Can anybody guess or speak of out of experience how long the availability of such a Promo set in Legoland stores will last and what such a regular availability might do to the set's value/demand long-term? Quote

Expand No, because neither will Legoland make a statement about the planned shelf-life of the set on Tuesday evening nor will we get to know about the effects of retail availability on long-term value/demand of the set based on the according effects in past cases. That's why I was asking for people's experience regarding those questions. Edited April 2, 2017 by Frank Brickowski Quote
Val-E Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 Fine, but Legoland is a drop in the ocean as it is only in a few countries. The thousands of unit bought in stores and on SAH will determine the value and whether TLG reissue it at a later date. It will be interesting to see how much it sells for on ebay when it becomes massively available - 20 euros is usually the marker. Quote

TANV Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Based on current eBay sales and BL sales, the prices are starting to trickle in at around $20-$23 on average. Given how long the promo will last, it wouldn't be unusual for the prices to drop further. Sorry, @donbee, but it seems the market's invisible hand is going to assert its control. Fun ride while it lasted. Quote
Val-E Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 (edited) RRP €12.99 in German Legoland store so I guess that´s what the Ebay value will drop to short term. Edited April 3, 2017 by Val-E 2 Quote

pete411 Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 I'm usually a promo flipper but this looks like it'll be one to hold for a couple of years. I've got enough of those types in my regular stock. Quote
Alpinemaps Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 At the rate these were selling for donbee, I'm confident that these will sell for good money again someday. 3 Quote

CM4Sci Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 .. I just bought a few things like Mighty Micros (cause I enjoy the minifigs and some of the pieces) just to get one of these. I don't care about reselling or value or whatever. Just wanted an excuse to buy Mighty Micros 2 Quote

donbee Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 I sold almost 300 at $32. The last 15 I sold last week at $25. Haven't sold any this week, still listed at $25, but I'm not surprised. It was definitely fun while it lasted. Made some new friends at LL, maybe an enemy too... 7 Quote
brickolodon Posted April 4, 2017 Author Posted April 4, 2017 Price will drop for 4 week or so to around 20.00 and will come back that level of 30sh...and rise more later on... Quote
