Moppy Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Looks like Able Auctions is having another collectibles auction that includes a bunch of Lego sets. It's not in Langley this time but at their Surrey auction house. Here's the link if anyone wants to check it out. Able Auctions Lego Auction Surrey Quote

labfreak7 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Only gems are market street and the green grocer. Everything else is relatively new. Quote
seapotato Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I wonder if these are the leftovers from the last auction where they shill bid themselves and no one actually won... Quote
dah_hunter Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Well most of these items werent at the last auction A couple were.. so mabe. Quote
ChristopherJB Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Everything is junk except for those Gretzky rookie cards. Get them under $1000 and flip them for $1500USD or higher on ebay. That graded Gordie Howe card should also be interesting. Quote
HeaTransfer Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Watched this auction online. There were a few deals to be had: somebody got a tower bridge for cad150. After buyer's premium that's about cad180. A box of the monster cmf went for 175 I think. Lots of stuff went for reasonable 'builder' prices but not necessarily good for resellers. A lot of the resale value gets eaten up by the buyer's premium. The green grocer looked like it was bricklinked (no grooved front brickson the photo) and went for about 500. Market street went for 350, if memory serves, the FB for about 250. Quote
