Val-E
So, the sets that haven´t sold out are perhaps hidden gems or turds. Kylo Ren´s and a number of other TFA´s sets, I´m looking at you.

How do you guys buy from Kaufhof if you do not live in Germany?
kumas
I think they ship only to Germany. If you live near the borders you could pick up the order in of theirs shopping centres. Or there probably exists some service providing Germany address and shipping from there to your country, though it means additional cost. My colleague's sister lives there and was so kind to bring it with her next time she visits her parents here.

1archimedes
Porsche 42056 20% at amazon.de Probably a Galería price match so be quick if you want it.I got the porsche from tesco when it was £50 off. My next door neighbour is a manager there so he got it for me with his 10% off so paid £180, was happy with that!
mauro23
You can theoretically order 30 Porsches at 240 Euro each... by the way, the yesterday Kaufhof deals was the best one of all deals I can remember in the last 2 or 3 years... Exclusives were 30 - 40% off..

mauro23
My AOH and 60125 orders have been cancelled due to missing capacity - as this is a lie because the articles are still available (for a much higher price) I have a question - is Kaufhof indentured to supply these sets to me? If they are available 1 day after and this is the reason you have a case. If they say it was a price mistake then probably not - Amazon 3rd parties do that all the time. Why not ask them via facebook page then you can make social pressure if they try to **** you over. With those 2 sets, I´d say they have done you a favour but that´s only my opinion

I don't know about Kaufhof, but most stores have a policy that states something like "orders can be cancelled at any time if no stock is available". I suggest you have a look at their policy. Sorry, just trying to help out. I've had toysrus cancel my orders because they were "out of stock" which was BS. If they don't want to sell you the set they just tell you: "there was a mistake in our inventory system and the sets were incorrectly marked as in-stock". Most times I try not to complain too much if they cancel some items because that is a sure-fire way to get banned.

Phil B
Having lived in Europe and now in North America, I can tell you that I surely don't miss the customer service aspect of Europe's retailers. From having to pay for calling them when you have an issue, to no commitment to "Customer is King" (as per the above), to ridiculously short opening hours during the week (although I hear a lot has changed there, when I left you were lucky if you could find a store that was open until 6pm on Saturday) - I always felt like I had to be so thrilled if they allowed me to buy something from them.

You also have to dress "respectfully/appropriately to get in". Walmart would close for good in a heartbeat if that rule was applied. Val-E
I could also add the dastardly trick of one shop here. They offer 40% off everything for a week but they remove all the Lego and Playmobil from their B+M shops and onlines saying they are out of stock. It comes back the day after the promo ends and they just put them all up on Ebay where there is no offer. All that hard work when it would be so much easier and honest just to limit the promo and say so in the conditions.

I'm happy to mention the poor handling and shipping of Argos.

BEWARE do not buy they are scammers somehow got help to track down the owner of the website seen him sunning himself in monacco on a rented yacht most likely. thebrickdad
A few years back I ordered a whole bunch of 9469's (Gandalf Arrives) thinking these will do great. Of the 100 ordered I managed to keep 15 after three different shipments. Some lucky individual will have picked up 285 of them to part out for pennies from where-ever damaged Argos stock goes to. The biggest shame is that I sold the ones I did keep only last summer for more that four times my buy-in. The only way i buy from Argos anymore is to store collect, and even then they often come out damaged.
