I have got many 5 eur rabbatt coupons, which were included in lego catalog sent with online orders. They are applicable from 1st December in lego stores and also online. Today I have tried to put the code to the "promo code" section during online shopping, but the system didnt decrease the amount by EUR 5 - nothing happen. Was somebody succesful in using it? Is it possible to combine several coupons in lego stores (for example using 10x coupons and buy something for EUR 50 without payment)?

It works to use one only...

But be careful - when you fall under 65 Euro (in Germany at least) using the coupon you get no snowglobe anymore - despite the fact that it has been confirmed during checkout...

I was about to say the same thing, perhaps the URL below should be a sticky at the top of this thread?

http://www.brickset.com/buy/amazon/

I'm pretty sure that we all know about it already anyway ;-)

Anyone know how to change the settings so you don't have to see posts from certain members.

This Max Profit fella is driving me mad (sorry Jeff).

@Jeff Mack specifically created mister @Max Profit for this reason. If you don't want to see the updates anymore you should be able to add Max to your ignored users list.

Expand your user menu and under settings click on Ignored Users. You should be able to add Max there.

The problem is that EU is not GB - and when you have every hour updates of only one country then it is boring. As I see the most of us are not british at all..

Well, we have to make a choice somewhere. Amazon.co.uk seems to have the best deals overall and afaik anyone in the EU can order most items.

Currently Amazon.fr has some good deals and Amazon.de also has some decent deals from time to time, but usually it's Amazon.co.uk. Perhaps we could only post notifications if a set is discounted >30% and combine all regional amazon deals in one post, but then you would miss out on sets that are rarely discounted.

What do you guys think would be the most useful?

As I said, if you don't want any updates you can ignore Max and you won't see any of the updates anymore.

We don't need to be spoon fed updates, we can look it up on Brickset if we want. These posts are taking over the daily deals thread and are getting longer each day.

Well in your case, I don't really see the problem. Just ignore the posts and you won't have to deal with it anymore.

Thanks - Do you know if this applies to both Business and Private sellers? I'm thinking of listing 300 sets (30 listings of 10 of each set) using BIN for about 10 days as 15DEC will be my last postal day before Satan Santa arrives. I'd like to shift some SSDs but, there's no way that eBay are getting a £75 FVF from me!

BTW... I've just noticed a Tesco loophole. I recently took the worst 6 boxes of the same set back to get a refund on them but, I was given a refund for all 6 not just the expected 4 (3-for-2). Hmmm..... It's so tempting to take the other 96 back and make an instant 50%? It's the equivalent of 2x after fees, boxes, postage & tax!

Every time I've had the £1 offer it has been purely for private sellers. Plus it does NOT let you sell multiple copies of the same item (either separately or on one listing with a set quantity). Those offers are super random too - sometimes I get them, sometimes not. Seem to get them more when I haven't sold anything in a while. So they are probably designed to lure people back into using ebay. Would explain why a big seller like yourself rarely sees them.

The macks have had to deal with all our crap when we first started and asked if buying at 10% is a good deal or if there is much potential in Chima / nexo knights etc, cut them some slack as it's not easy to run a website with no revenue apart from affiliate links. Or you can donate them some money...

It was a joke, I'd not do that as I'm probably one of Tesco's biggest LEGO customers and cannot afford to jeopardise my relationship with them.

I am a big seller but, not on eBay. Please note that if you selling LEGO for a profit and selling the same sets, you should NOT be a Private seller. After I upgraded to Business before I took a break from eBay, I remember the FVF went down from 10% to 7% and Power Seller and Top Rated Seller doubled my sales! HMRC are closely monitoring Private eBay sellers, this is how I got slapped with a huge fine years ago.

I agree, they do a fantastic job and I remember a video announcing Edward Maciorowski being shown on TV - Ed... you are famous in the UK, you are our God!

I admit I do use Quidco for large purchases when the % is good but, I still use the affiliate links for smaller purchases. Every little helps, right? Hmmm... where did I hear that before?

Also, I've no problem paying for membership on here if a privileged section is built for the "true" players ;-)

Have you tried to use more than one (only 1 per order of course) and it doesn't work or do you assume it does not accept more than 1 code per account in total?

It's really upsetting the way some of you think. Seriously, what kind of statement is this?

1 hour ago, Sprocket77 said:

I am sorry, but that seriously ticks me off. What good does that do us?  If you only care to click Brickset links then what are you doing here?  It is a single post that is updated throughout the day.  I corrected the issue of many posts throughout the day?  How many other deal posts do you see?  There is just one single post by Max Profit in this entire thread, that is all. Sure it gets updated, but it is just a single post.  I have already posted several times that I am waiting for Amazon to fix some of the issues with their API for France, Italy, Spain, for whatever reason they don't work the same as the others.  As c_rpg has said and some of you have done, ignore that user.

Also, if you want me to share a ton of PMs or emails from users that enjoy this and appreciate getting the updates in the email and here, I will do that. Most people don't spend their entire days sifting through sites and other resources.  Some people don't go to Brickset. You need to get it out of your head that everyone does things the way you do.

I have a DEU one that is ready to go and I posted some over time and even posted some in the German Investors thread and asked some questions.  Got no feedback at all.  I guess I just read minds.

The goal is to start showing other updates from places like John Lewis, Tesco, Argos, Toys R Us, Galeria Kaufhof and other regional places.

Whatever works for people.  Do some of you realize how many outliers a site like this or brickset go against?  Plans like this Quidco, other Lego sites, credit card deals, etc.  It is a small percentage of a small percentage that you fight for.  It's not easy. I am just trying to build a feature that can help with that small percentage while providing a service that some (not all) of you can benefit from as well.

Sorry, merge gone wrong and it wiped out the other, trying to fix it all now.  The merging features on this forum are not the best, so sorry for the accident.  Unfortunately, if you were getting forum updates for new posts to this thread, those have been wiped out.  If you want to get updates from other members posts, please resubscribe to the thread by clicking the button in the upper right corner.

Ah feck off will you. My card can't cope.

Yes, it starts tomorrow my local dolly-bird at Tesco Express confirmed an hour ago after I saw it on HUKD earlier. The poor lass will be busy when I collect!

If there's a set that needs clearing out to eliminate competition, who wants in? You'll need to have several pages open and place order after order after order if the limit is 3.

Nothing to stop us ordering right now as Tesco have a 28 day self-price-promise and I used it on the Friends Buses and Volcano Explorers.

Thanks! This is a good deal. I'll take -40% off Architecture any time.

Seems like the "new customer" check at mytoys is not very thorough either, so pretty much anyone can take advantage of this deal.
