aboylal Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Hi, I am relatively new to Lego re-selling. Over about a decade I have amassed a collection of mini figures which I intend to sell for a decent price. If it works so, the money I receive will be re-invested into Lego which I can once again sell and expand my inventory. Do you recommend, for a beginner, I begin an e-store or go straight to auction sites? I live in New Zealand by the way. Thanks so much to anyone who replies. Quote
c_rpg Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Hello and welcome to the site. If you're a beginner, it seems to make more sense to me to start at auction sites and make a name for your self. Once people know the name, you can try to begin an e-store. Even then, it's very unlikely you'll ever reach as wide an audience with an e-store as you would with auction sites. The situation might be different if you could have a large local customer base. Look at the market in New Zealand and figure out if you could make an impact. There are probably a bunch of stores already, so it's unlikely you'll be able to compete as a beginner. Quote
