One of Lego's 2016 Holiday promotions is now available now, the much anticipated 40223 Snowglobe set.  This available is considered "Early Access" for VIP members in the U.S. and Canada.  It also appears the general public (non-US and CA Lego residents) will be able to get the Snowglobe set from Nov 25th to the 28th.

The Snowglobe is only available from November 19, 2016 through November 20, 2016 or while supplies last.  1 set will be included with each online and in-store orders costing more than $99.   Note: Offers not valid at LEGOLAND® Parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centers

The Snowglobe promotion should quickly disappear if prior seasonal promotions are an indicator (e.g. 2015's 40139 Gingerbread House promotion).

Personally, I like the investment potential of this set as well as the design.  AFOLs and KFOLs are sure to enjoy the build experience and display value is exceptional.

i ordered a VW beatle for personal build & one promo to build.  I ordered 2 architecture white houses to get another promo to sell.  barnes and noble is starting to run low on these around me and its listed as retiring soon at european shop at home

I take it that your "tiny" order is due in part to the massive amounts of sales these days and that the promo just doesnt make worth while anymore?

I have very good vibes for this Snow Globe! It looks awesome to me! Dare I say that I think it will perform very similar to the Gingerbread House (not quite as good), but damn close. $40-50 is not out if the question (and maybe a little more for this QFLL season while the hype is high)...IMO.

part of it is i'm not sure how cool this snowglobe promo is and what the demand will be - i like it but let's face it - this ain't no GBH.

Also my wife will not be happy if I blow through my spending budget (again).

I might order a Wall-E and a round of the $14.99 Series 1 Speed champions racers later today to get another promo.

Holiday Train is on backorder, which annoys me.  I'm going to be near a Lego Store tomorrow; I may just wait until tomorrow and buy it in store vice buying it online.

why?  i prefer to order things on backorder for the promo - that way it doesn't damage the actual item you are buying and you usually get the promo even faster than normal because they send it separate so you can get in on the flip quicker.   of course if you live near a store why bother.

I kinda like the snowglobe, but man, i'm definitely concerned at this point that NOTHING is flying into out of stock and sold out on lego shop at home at this phase in the game.  In the end...the door towards the exit can't happen quick enough.

what are you talking about - galactic empire battle pack is on backorder.  things are heating up !  those shock troopers are popular.

Funny you say that, but it is interesting that the more obscure battle packs do tend to have higher returns... But...who knows what the battlefront packs will do.
