RoswellGinny Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) So my local Target is going out of business. I've been haunting the aisles waiting for their legos to be put on clearance. The ONLY sets that they have discounted are the Nexo Knights 70312, 70313, 70324 (I bought every single item since they were on 50% off). All of their others are at regular price. Granted it is early days in their clearance sale, but I found it interesting that none of their other sets are being discounted. Do you think it is because the Nexo line isn't selling as well as Lego would like and if that is the case do you think they will retire the sets sooner than normal? I should mention that before the clearance sale started I saw an employee in the aisles resetting the merchandise who appeared to work for Lego since they were wearing a Lego employee polo. I've never seen a Target employee working that aisle and I am there more often than any sane person should be. Edited January 8, 2017 by RoswellGinny Quote
Val-E Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Wow, 2017 summer fort has a 140 euro RRP in Holland. I guess that means 125 or so elsewhere but it will be a new flagship. Quote

So I would say there is no special clearance on LEGO in your Target yet .... Quote

Long live NEXO! Quote
Val-E Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Same price and theme as Kingdoms Joust! Past performance is not a guarantee of future performance, but in this case it is. Quote
Val-E Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Pics of some summer 2017 sets are now on Reddit for all you Nexo fanboys. The castle is a proper castle with no tracks or weird things. 1 Quote

Val-E Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Looking forward to picking this one up at 70% off! Quote
XiaoyaoNL Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 The castle looks ok, but not 140 euro good (listed price on brickset). I was surprised by the amount of bricks in there. Designwise the Fortrex and Jestro's Lair look much better to me. Might pick this up if it is heavily discounted, but even then... Quote
Phil B Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Darn, another King Halbert. There goes the uniqueness of King's Mech. Quote
Lego Templar Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Rumor of this theme coming to an end?https://brickset.com/article/27598/is-nexo-knights-coming-to-an-early-end 1 Quote
Val-E Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Possibly. This theme was always going to have something like a 3 year life cycle but I guessed they would end it in winter at the soonest. Let´s see. In for 3 of all the summer sets BTW! Quote
Ayleux Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 I knew it wouldn't have a long run but I didn't think it was doing so bad that they would cancel an upcoming release. Oh well. Quote

Oh well. Especially when you devote so much of the Feb international toy fair stand to it. I say the summer sets come out but that they will be short runs like Bionicle 2H and the theme ends in early or mid 2018. Edited April 19, 2017 by Val-E Quote
minicoopers11 Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Knighton Castle is a definite get for me. Looking forward to it Quote

Ayleux Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 I'm impressed with the playability of Jestro's Lair but that Knighton Castle looks amazing. The Fortrex just didn't feel like a castle. Quote
Rodeogeorge Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 King's mech is a hit with my kids. Cool build. Limited supply? Quote
Shewie Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 You mean 70326? It's already retired and indeed is very popular among youngsters. Quote
