hello all i am new to Lego and will be buying as an investment when i learn more about the subject.

Welcome. I wish three and half years ago, somebody would have said "think twice" before I was involved in Lego investment. It would start with "lots of" enthusiasm, then some level of addiction (depending on individual), followed by gradual awareness that it is really not what you think. It takes time, money (investing), and space (for storage...), and then lots of patience and then more time (for the sets to appreciate). With sets ("obviously good for investment") lasting for years, and tsunami of investors, ......think twice!
