Thanks for the welcome guys, sorry if I'm wrong but after reading more of the site I'm guessing most people on here buy & leave in the box?

As my boy is still only ten he can't wait to build all his sets!

I am curious & a bit worried to start a brick folio lol ££££££

Welcome.. while there are many collectors and builders hanging out on Brickpicker, the majority are here to also discuss buying and reselling LEGO. So yes, those folks are generally leaving them in the box. :)

But don't be shy .. we love to hear stories and see pictures of built sets. Create a brickfolio .. no harm in knowing how much money you've spent so far.

Hello from Belfast!

I'm more for buying to build and display, in saying that I make sure my box and instructions are kept in excellent order should I ever decide to sell my collection.  I do have a few pieces that I have bought to sell but it's minimal.
