It´s been pending for more than 50 years. I agree, some of the churches and cathedrals would make amazing sets. Of course, LEGO shy away from sensitive subjects. BTW... Who's Jesus? ;-) Quote

HandyHand Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 There's a Dutch website still hosting/showing the leaked GeekTree pictures, in case anyone is looking for them... I think the box look very psychedelic. Also noticing the use of the new 'macaroni' curved tube brick as you can see in this detail: Interesting! Quote

I was wondering how long it would take for a little wrist slapping. ;-) Glad I saw the box art though. Quote

KShine Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Big Beatles fan - This will be fun. It looks like they did a great job improving on the original submission. Quote
thegooch49 Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 I love this set! As an IDEAS fan, and Beatles fan, this is a win. It's a buy regardless, I have one NISB of all the IDEAS sets. I actually don't have Shinkai 6500, I'm not sure if that counts since there was no US release? I hate having one short of the complete collection, even if it's an asterisk. 1 Quote
Brian Briggs Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 The box looks absolutely phenomenal and display worthy. The close-up of the minifigures looks promising. There's even sideprinting on the legs! Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Not a Beatles fan so I am curious if they spend money on frivolous things like a LEGO set? We know TBBT fans in general are not into LEGO Quote
midbenne Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Any Beatles fans will LOVE this, but don't take my word for it, I love the Beatles...regardless, this will now set the bar on hoardable sets... Quote
marcandre Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 (edited) This Beatles set will be widely popular. Good qfll potential. Will likely be too hoarded to be much of an investment. I'll still buy a bunch... Edited October 11, 2016 by marcandre Quote

I've gone in big on some IDEAS sets and the YS will be no exception. Quote

Val-E Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 (edited) NOV 1ST 60 USD / 60 euros looks like this will do well with the Xmas promo sets. Edited October 12, 2016 by Val-E Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 That looks incredible and I'm gonna give it some large! Let's hope the limit isn't 1 ;-) Quote
Val-E Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 (edited) It will be limit 1 and backorder 30 days after a few hours! SAH will be on its knees on Nov 1st. What promo coincides with launch? Edited October 12, 2016 by Val-E Quote

I've already asked friends at John Lewis & Smyths to keep an eye out. On the other hand... I would prefer this to be 100% exclusive to LEGO like the MR and RI were. Quote
