I no longer buy run-of-the-mill sets unless they are >50% off and is HAS to be a decent set. I bought Friends sets at 66% off once (eg. 41007 Pet Salon RRP £29.99) and still lost as I could only get £11 at the most which was a loss after fees and packaging, WTF! - never again! However, I would by the roller-coaster but, it'll have to be 60% off! There's no such thing anymore as an exclusive set and it's now commonplace to see >25% knocked off "Exclusives". LEGO should really change the headings on their descriptions to "Extremely easy to find in vast quantities everywhere". Who has ever had a problem finding a VW Camper for example? The Snow Globe (sold for £35) and VIP makes them £30 each ;-) Good offers will return and I'll then go in big closer to EOL if the mojo is there. Limit for the discounted Submarine in the US website is 2 (two). b. I wouldn't call it surprising that YS is the least favorite Ideas set in a TOY SHOP. I mean, how many 50-year old kids do you know? Turned me into a fan too.I like cars but I just can't bring myself to collect all of the LEGO cars any more (big or small). And this YS is neat but too many ideas sets to collect have turned me off as well.. I stopped before BBT and the Maze. I often wonder there must be others like me... too many sets in a theme to collect/build/display. And those who are replacing us (I believe they do exist) .. what are they buying? I was just poking fun at the 80s and early 90s and by extension things like the heavy metal tshirts people wore.The irony is that all the nerdy guys who are now in their 30-40-50s are a big part of the target audience of resellers.
