nolanfan34 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Are these completely gone from shelves at this point, or is there anywhere I should look to try to pick them up? I heard B&****** might be the only shot if I got lucky somewhere. Quote

I heard B&****** might be the only shot if I got lucky somewhere. I just got 2X Harry Potter Hagrid's Hut (4738) at B&****** yesterday. So they are still out there. Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Yeah like legodog said there are few scragglers out there.......I don't think you will find any of the big sets though. Quote
Huskers1236 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Barnes seems to be the only place that has some stragglers, though the 2 in my town have been sold out of them for months now. Quote
cvail8 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 I found 1 Knight Bus at Wally World the other day... But B&****** is like Obi-Wan Kenobi, they're your only hope. Quote

Teeird Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 At this point, are they worth paying retail? Quote
Teeird Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Yup!!! Nice, are they already sky rocketing in price? :L Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 They will gain steadily........the big sets especially. Quote
exciter1 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I thought the Knight Bus was stupid, so I passed on at least 2 at KMart for $15 each. I wish I would have picked them up now. Quote
nolanfan34 Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 Thanks all. I have a few B&****** in my area that might be good suspects. Will have to call around. Quote
Sauromosis Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Thanks for the BN tip, I got some. Too early to flip? I guess the movies will always be around unlike Ninjago. Quote
misterblandon Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I have a "The burrow" 4840 and a "Quidditch Match" 4737 new if you want! I also had a Castle but I've already sold it, sorry! Quote
glucapg Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I think that the winner of this theme are/wil be 4867 hogwarts, 4738 hagrid's hut, 4840 burrow, 4841 train and 4842 castel...the others are very weak no mention for 10217, absolute winner Quote

kerrmando Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I wish that I had bought more of the trains. I opened one and kept one sealed. Now im regretting not buying 20-30 Quote
Rich B Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I wish that I had bought more of the trains. I opened one and kept one sealed. Now im regretting not buying 20-30 Same here, I don't have any of the Harry Potter trains, I wish I at least had a couple. Quote
TheDarkness Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Add me to the list. I used to see heaps of them around too, they were discounted heavilly then too late. Quote
Veegs Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I had to settle for a few HP castle's at MSRP, as I didn't get my act together until they were already hard to find...ah, regret. Quote
Huskers1236 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I would venture to guess that more than 90% of the membership here are thinking the same thing. Had I been into the investing scene I would like to think I would have been all over Harry Potter, but at the same time, until my son started watching the movies, I thought they were pretty lame, so who knows.
