Coneil21
Thanx for the info. I was kind of bummed they limited it to 2. I think this is going to be a hot item this Christmas.
jaisonline
yeah, i've been watching it. cool looking item. been thinking it would make a nice gift for his 4th birthday but decided against it. i have no more space. maybe for his christmas gift. Fcbarcelona101
At that price, I think it is definitely worth it to grab a couple. To me, this is the single best looking set of the currently available.
Quacs
@C- If the show goes as expected, this will make a really good Christmas flip at this price. Really good call.
justgod
In for two. Thanks for the heads up. Like my wallet needed to be lighter....
Diabolos80
Got one. I've been waiting for a better price for this set. I agree with you guys, this will be hot and desirable this xmas, even more so after the hype of the tv show kicks off this summer and the new wave is released. Thanks for the notiice jaisonline. willy431
I've got 5 on the shelf....and one in the bathroom. Yes folks....it floats! My 4 year olds favorite toy for weeks now. Plays with it all the time and even in the tub. Might snag a couple more...this set is awesome!
LowestFormOfWit
I've stayed away from Chima so far....I just find my investment dollars are better dumped into LOTR or SuperHeroes. But you guys might be onto something with a holiday flip of these big first wave items for the holidays, assuming the show has a good effect on the set demand. I may have to reconsider avoiding the little furballs...
TheOrcKing
Tweaked the link, and price went back up to the same discount as before of $62.69. And merged to older topic of sale.
c4dreams
I've never heard of this website. anyone familiar with it?
terrymc4677
No, but I think the member who posted the link is probably affiliated with it and is trying to drum up some business. A store that only sells Chima? Good luck with that!

They will not be a member for long.

ZombieToyChest
I think this set looks great for personal use but not sure yet about investment.
siddji
I have seen these at Target for $56. With target red card and tax they come out to $57 net. Are these worth picking up since they are retired and the retail is $79.99. It does have more pieces and nicer detailed minifigs than destiny's bounty IMO. But don't know if Ninjago effect was on the bounty ship. I still like the detail on the ship and the jet skis.
Sparkesy43
I picked up two of these for 50% off (plus shipping) here in Australia. Now to decide whether to try flipping one or both quickly, or try sitting on them for a while.
jerryherb
picked 4 up at ~$40/piece out the door during the last target sale.
allen9917
I'm surprised the cragger ship is still lingering at Amazon. Hopefully the holiday sale will dry up the remaining stock and we'll see some growth on this set. On the flip side, the ship is not moving after retirement so it apparently does not have lion chi type of potential. I think the Temple will probably outperform the other large Chima sets.

Chima is a weird nut to crack right now. In reality, it picks up at Christmas, but its like during the year no one wants it, I am holding old sets though - I think it could still take off. Lego will pound it in to children. And the new fire and ice sets are awesome.
