I would say in the $400 range to buy. This has shown very solid growth, so there is still some room to grow, maybe to $500 or $600 MISB.

 

The question is if it's still possible to get it for $400 range for MISB?

This is the set that got me started. I saw one built in John Lewis and just had to buy it there and then. A friend told me at the time about how well he'd done with model railways. I then thought about this for a while and said to myself, "I wonder how much this would be worth if I sat on it for 5 years?" I then saw them on sale a few months after and bought the lot, 40ish sets. I made 3-4x outlay within a couple of years. Since then, UK values have stagnated so I don't see the point of paying well over RRP. Unless... you give me
