Two-Face misprint?

Recommended Posts

Just got the orange and purple two face in a trade and I noticed his face has some markings.  Looks like some of his purple face paint bled over to his right side? Anybody know if there were some quality issues with the fig?   I am pretty sure the figure is authentic. Would this be considered a misprint?

I was thinking of trying some rubbing alcohol.  Would that be a stupid idea?

Looks like ink (it also has a bit of wear) - I wouldn't use rubbing alcohol. Just try rubbing it under water in the sink, maybe with a drop of liquid soap.

I wash used Lego all the time. Soap won't wash printing off pieces. Feel confident in using more than a drop at a time :P

Can't speak for isopro, though, I don't find it lifts stains or residues very well, usually just dilutes them, spreads them around, then dries before you can do anything about it. I'd definitely try the warm soapy water angle.

I've used Goo Gone on some harder blemishes and it hasn't removed the original printing.  Don't use an abrasive cloth and work the stain a few times. See if it starts coming off.

Unfortunately, it looks like the left side printing is already scratched quite a bit.
