wolvergeek Posted June 4, 2016 Share Posted June 4, 2016 What are some lots you missed out on from CL whether you offered too low or waited too long to buy? I have 3 all in the last month or so. Kicking myself. 1. UCS Advanced Tie - used complete with manual $200 - I offered $175 but it sold and I never got a response back. Should have paid his asking price. 2. Large lot with The Burrow (Ron's house), Black Pearl, a couple old 3-1 houses from 2010, police station and some other city sets. Asked $330. I offered $250, then $275, he countered with $325. Someone paid his price shortly after. 3. This one hurts. Last Sunday, Memorial Day weekend, large lot with 90 sets. No boxes but all instructions included. Asking $1200. Taj Mahal, Black Pearl, Diagon Alley, Brick Bounty, just to name a few of the sweet sets. I inquired about minifigures but when they replied back it was sold.
