Inside of mouth is always red. Never white.

I'm not a vet but maybe Geoffrey has thrush or oral hairy leukoplakia?

A giraffe's tongue is black for the majority of it's length except at the base where it is pink.

And yes that mouth does creep me out.

Oral candidiasis?

He's a free giveaway at Toysrus.fr when you buy for 30 euro of Lego.

It stacks up so 60 euro's gives two Geoffrey, etc...

At my local TRU they mentioned it only one on each purchase above 30€. So if I buy a mega inflated Lego set, say a VW Camper Van, I'll only get one free set and not 3 or 4...

I will ask them again though.

Quick update: In the latest TRU flyer (Canada), Geoffrey and Friends will be free with a minimum of $25 CAD purchase (minimum of 25 per store).

I was able to buy these for $4.99 at my local TRU about a month ago.  I suspect they were put out for retail by mistake.

Don't look at me. It's not a polybag, Poly.

Well then, which one of you mods is in charge of random crappy promos? @exciter1

And it's Poly 30286. Christmas makes me behave irrationally, remember? (Perhaps you've blocked that out :) )

I haven't heard of any findings in the US yet.

Oh polybag, oh polybag....
Some QFLL scooped them all up like a douchebag....

I was hoping that thread had ended up in the graveyard of dead links by now... <face palm>

If nothing else, I can reflect on how much I have learned since then:

- It's a jungle out there

- The smart answer is always "buy"

- We all love little Timmy, but not enough to take our fair share before leaving him the scraps

- It impossible to fill the void of a LEGO set lost to prudence, no matter how many other pieces you cram in.

- Paying RRP now is a far better deal than 200% later

- Christmas comes just once a year. Even if it's still summer out, buy an advent calendar when you see it

- MOST IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS!!!

Oh it's a dead topic alright. I am just giving you a hard time. Haha.

We all have our breaking points where enough is enough and sometimes a person just needs to vent. They may not be our proudest moments and friends might get caught in the crossfire but it is part of the human condition. "To err is human, to forgive divine." If any sense of knowledge was gained from the experience then the occasion served its purpose and life goes onto the next trial.

Hopefully everyone bought at least a few of these when they were $6 or less. Geoffrey the creep is fetching some pretty good money right now. Same can be said for all other TRU branded sets (7848, 40144, 40077). If a piece of our childhood is dying off, we might as well make a few bucks off of it!
