Legodog Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my first packages that I purchased from amazon.co.uk. Out of 4 sets in 2 different boxes only 1 had a minor dent. In any case I was happy (and relieved) to find that these arrived in good condition. They actually arrived in better condition than most sets that I buy from amazon.com. I will definitely be comfortable with buying from amazon.co.uk in the future. Quote

Veegs Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Did you have to pay either a) an import fee or a broker fee? I grabbed a couple sets a week ago (amazon.co.uk to Canada) and was charged both. I expected the customs fee, but I had never heard of a 'broker' fee (it was $10). I've ordered other things (vinyl records, especially, some box sets) without any customs or broker fees, so this caught me by surprise. Quote

justgod Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Anyone here have any knowledge as to whether Amazon reports this to the government? I just don't want to receive a letter in the mail at the end of the year with a total of duty fees I owe. Farfetched? Probably. In line with our government? Absolutely. Quote

I have no idea. Quote
