I never knew this existed.  I realize it's a Duple set, but it's a pirate ship, so I'm putting this here.

Wow.  I *love* the design.  I've fallen in love with ships lately, and seeing this makes me jealous.  I wish I could easily pick this one up.

The set is from 2006.  Only 60 pieces, but a pretty impressive sized box.  It also floats on water.

RRP was $60.  Current new value is $289, used is $88.  Although I'm guessing that, since the bar graph on it is pretty stagnant, that there haven't been many sales.  Currently on eBay, there are a couple of used listings in the $150-$170 range.  And one new listing at $300.

There is also a small pirate ship, 7881 - Pirate Ship, also released in 2006, which is a bit of a little brother to this set.
