gregpj
I like the black grille on the front, but the attempt to put bars over the windshield doesn't work for me. I think they had a rookie designing these Volcano Exploration sets... some potential, but not a lot new here.

I actually thought the bars made the truck looked bigger than standard pick-up

It's a good idea, but the execution is poor.

No, but there's a useless bucket on the track machine that you can remove and use for something else. The blade needs to be _in front_ of the tracks to be effective, otherwise what the hell is it going to be used for?

exciter1
These sets are missing pretty huskies, sharks, or cute fire demons. The new Ghostbusters demon might fit in.

Oddly, I think Nexo Knights' bad guys fit in well with these volcano sets

TheOrcKing
I wonder why LEGO changed the alignment for the molten rock pieces. Their typical boulder halves have always been "top & bottom" while this is a "left & right" configuration. Perhaps this cuts the molding process down to one as both sides are (or seem to be) the same.

They do seem to be the same don't they... they also changed the mold quite a bit - a stud on the side rather than the bottom and a hole in the top for ?? We'll probably see it in other sets soon and not just as flaming meatballs here.
