Darth Lego
Hi all, I wanted to get word out about a Lego Kickstarter project that is being run by my friend Nile and I for a build taking place at the World War Brick Minneapolis 2016 convention June 10th-12th. Here is a part of our description on Kickstarter. "For this WWB event the group has decided on recreating a duel between two tanks in Cologne Germany that was actually videotaped! The two tanks involved were the infamous German Panther and a US M26 Pershing Heavy tank. Check out the Youtube video link below! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBI9d0-IfEM Picture Of The Entire Diorama (It is about 3 feet wide and 4 feet in length.) High Quality Rewards... The funding raised will be used to build the lower level of the Cologne Cathedral. This build is going to be quite the undertaking! However, 60-70% of funding each backer donates will be put towards the backing reward. This means we will need a lot of other enthusiastic people to become involved with this project. These rewards are pretty awesome, and each backer will be able to take home a little piece of history! Cologne Cathedral in progress! Help Recreate This Forgotten Piece Of WWII History! This build has potential to be one of the largest and most impressive builds to show up at WWB. This build is going to be huge! We're looking at a 3x4 foot diorama with the cathedral and all the other included buildings! Several people are pooling together their Lego resources, energy, and enthusiasm to recreate a very unique piece of WW2 history that may never again be recreated after this event. Backers will be an integral part to this ambitious project if we are to succeed. Be a part of recreating history through a very unique media; Lego bricks.
